Upgrades

It's time for me to finally start my first kitbash...I'm doing a simple repaint...starting easy...I'm gonna paint all of Silverstreak's red parts blue...what's the best way to take the back windows off his shins? Will they come off easily without breaking the li'l attatchment parts? What about the red part in front of the dashboard? The forearms and legs seem easy enough, though... Any other tips on Silverstreaks 'quirks'? Thanks guys! :thumb

So, got my Prowl sitting around asking for a new paint job. I've always liked the look of the NYPD Auxiliary vehicles (and given the nature of Alt/BT Prowl and NYPD Aux, I think it would be rather appropriate that the two could mix). Since I can't find decals for NYPD Aux, I'm going to make a generic homage to them. Any suggestions as to what color to use for the base blue?

Basically, I'm a Metalic Silver Sharpee® nut. After seeing some GF stills of Convoy/Prime I had no choice but to do this. I think it looks so good that if you don't own em, You wont even no the difference.

OK, so...I got Alt. Meister/Jazz, AT LAST, from eBay recently (along with Skids...for a pretty decent price, too). And of course I had to give him a different look, but instead of going the Reprolabels route, I wanted to try my own hand at it...so here he is, with a blue strip painted with Testors, and side door strips made from label sheet paper. Enjoy!

Did this over the weekend using a KO Sideswipe. Its more of a trial so got some unpainted parts. Not too happy with the head so might redo it next time. But for now he'll stay as is :tfgrin

Hi all, Just wanted to drop in and share some photos of my BT Springer I just finished. I was inspired to do my own using the Mustang mold on inspiration from Superquad and Guld at TFans. The robot mode is done, and I still need to take vehicle mode pics yet.......I'll have enough for a gallery tomorrow. I've been pestered (in a polite and well-mannered way) for the top secret and closely guarded building secrets of my Lego Transformers since I posted the first batch. And now, I've begun the mammoth task of generating such instructions. Seeing as the animation model is base on Mudflap/Demolisher, is anyone currently or will be in the future make a kitbash of signal lancer? Just wondering :D

this will be last time wildrider gets posted here cos he's been posted enough times. it is my latest custom (also an alt) that i can't decide on an ident for, i painted him that way because i wanted to do something different from prowl and the gold and blue work quite well together any ideas for a name?
