Powerglide has been turned into a Decepticon Cobra Rattler this time around. The base figure is of course Universe Powerglide with a new rear turret from an energon Sharkticon and missiles/guns from some Sigma 6 weapons. He was given a brand new paint job with all sorts of realistic weathering/grime that you'd get from flying through battle constantly. a few days ago the idea came to me that with a bit of building on top of the mould the sunstreaker/sideswipe figure could make a good Trailbreaker, only thing is I am unsure how I should go about this project (it's a way off at the moment) but it would be god to have some idea on what kind of materials and tools i should use for such a project. here is a picture of Sunstreaker demonstrating how the transformation will work the legs will be bulked out as will the chest due to the new vehicle mode and also a new backpack as a taller windscreen and roof will be built upon. I had bought another Animated Swoop the other day since my other one was doing something odd. So I was just swinging his flail today while reading (I was bored), and thought to myself "Why didn't Hasbro make his flail a little longer?" I looked over at my other Swoop in my parts bin and thought to myself, "I wonder if there's a way that I could take the chain from my old Swoop's flail and attach it and make my new Swoop's flail longer, that'd be great." Here's my take on Ironhide. I wasn't originally going to get him, but finding him at Wal-Mart still at $7.77, I couldn't resist a good project to work on. I didn't post this in the garage, as there's something about him that still feels incomplete. If anyone has some suggestions, I'm all ears. This figure was done with a Sharpie Ultra Fine marker, and a SRX Metallic Silver Colorsharp pen made by Rose Art / Mega Brands. For his robot mode, I did his crest(it's kind of hard to see) and face with the silver. Here are 2 pics of my MP Sky/Jetfire in an early production stage. I managed to work on it more than I expected in the last days, so these pics are "old". New pics will be added soon. Here are some facts: - MP Skyfire can be converted into a MP Jetfire. There will be a replacable head and removable armor for the Jetfire version. - electronics will also be integrated (lights & sound) - Sky/Jetfire is real big! Overall, I'm really stoked about Classics Ironhide. His hands look cool too... BUT not very functional. I found that several sets of extra mech hands left over from other projects fit perfectly into his wrist-sockets; including Alt Prowl's, Alt Sideswipe & Sunstreaker's and the hands from my Gundam:Arch-Enemy RX-78 ( which came with 4 pairs of extras =) ). Here are a few pics of his most appropriate, most fitting hands & weapons: His memorable Left 'Nozzle' hand (for spraying the various combinations of gases & liquids stored in forearm tanks). Prowl has always been one of my fave characters, as the logical, rational TF. His Animated incarnation has gone through more metamorphosis in translation than most other characters, but he's still cool & still Prowl. Prowl's deco was rather fitting; going from Police bike to a mech that resembled a bike-cop, and though I appreciate the novelty of it, it reminds me of those TF-GoBot characters. Prowl also gave many fans the impression he had no pants... :tflaugh In dying his legs & groin black, I mostly just sought to unify his cooler 'Ninja' deco / persona .
