The only criticism I have is that he's a little bland being all white with seemingly no panel lines.

There are indeed some panel lines! The panel lines are mainly on the jet's upper section and on the wings. They are hardly recognizably on the pictures, maybe because of the white color. Maybe I will put some more on it, but I'm not sure yet. I'm glad I finished the project - my last one!

I planed making all 3 masterpiece conehead seekers after that, but I quit kitbashing.

I'm getting too old for such things, and I become a father in a few months - so there is more important work to do...

Maybe my Masterpiece collection will be sold in the near future including my previous work MP Soundwave, MP Ultra Magnus trailer and, yes, MP Jet-/Skyfire!

You really pulled this one off d00d. Looks fantastic. The aircraft mode is really impressive.

 

It's a shame you're gonna give up the bashing though. As a fan of your work and one who was inspired by you to get involved in this artform, it'll be a shame to lose j00.

 

I'm a father of four and my kids love that I build toys. It's a great way to teach them how to achieve things on their own through hard work and patience. Just need to work it into your routine.

Yeah, but I didn't work 2 years continously on it. Actually I started the work about 2 years ago. I paused a few times (sometimes for months) in between.

Yes, I used Unicrons hands. They have the perfect size. The legs are from Cybertron Supreme Starscream. The arm armor, and the red parts on the legs are modified parts from G1 Jetfire...and a lot of other parts, styrene, lego, putty....

 

Maybe I just pause kitbashing a while. If I will find time between my family and my work I will probably do some other kitbashes. But I'm not sure yet.

By the way: I also just finished improving my MP Ultra Magnus a little bit.

I also planed to do the MP Soundwave cassettes - maybe I will make them in a few days, because I have bought already oversized replicas of them all.

I will show 'em when they are finished.
