Upgrades

I have another side project I'm starting on what number is this one? Um like 5 or 6 at least. Any way I have drilled a hole where the Dcon emblem was on Scavenger's stomach for the Energon star port on E Demolishor/Longhaul to plug into. This is just step one. Next will be to give treads to the one loader turning it into a bulldozer, and adding a cement barrel to the crane arm of one of the cranes. Should have worn my Kevlar glove though cause the drill bit nicked the back of my left middle finger. Oh well it could have been much worse. I'll get back to work on my Predaking Monday, and Tuesday.

Leading the seekers to earth to hunt for the traitor Starscream,Dirge inspires fear and depression to friend and foe alike.Dirges wings were taken from a 1:72 Saab Gripen kit,the guns were made from aluminium tubing,i resculpted the head & did the same hand mod i did on Acid storm & Thrust.Dirge was Painted with games workshop AcrylicsAlt mode pics will be up as soon as the varnish cures. Poor old G1 Seaspray,part of the "hippie" minibots from 85,crap Alt mode & that bubbly voice.Fit for little more than gaurding the base.Well not this time,now Seaspray gets a nasty side..Seaspray was made from Energon Mirage with a few minor mods,most of the Add ons were from an airfix vosper torpedo boat kit.The face plate was made from the Anchor with a few grooves cut in it.I swaped the original weapons for more realistic torpedo launchers & used them to make a pair of harpoon guns..Seaspray was painted with games workshop paints,mostly burnished gold,dwarf bronze,codex gray & a custom mix blue.Alt mode pics as soon as the varnish cures.Loads more pics here…

Using a fragment of Allspark Meltdown re-activated a Starscream clone & imbued it with a little of himself and so Acid Storm was born.In constant agony his body drips with acid,Acid Storm will stop at nothing to get revenge on his creator.I made a few minor mods to Acid Storms hands to make them more articulated,shortend the missiles slightly & used Super glue gel to make the dripping acid.Acid Storm was painted with Games Workshop paints (mainly Dark Angel green & Graveyard earth)Alt mode pics will be up as soon as the varnish cures View the Custom Gallery Here

Hey guys. I have an Activators Optimus Prime figure, that I'm tossing between the ideas of removing the springs, or returning to the store. I'm wondering if anyone else has already tried this, and if so, what did you do to 'replace' the spring so it still works as a transforming figure, and not become a floppy mess?

So far I've just begun designing him and I'm beginning with the design of the leader Motormaster. He is going to be similar to PM Optimus Prime with a fusion of Movie Armorhide, and E Barricade along with a ton of styrene, and hinges. So as we all know a topic about a bash is useless with out pics so here ya'll go. first up is the sketch of the changes I'm planning for E.
