from the pictures I've seen, they don't seem to be numbering the alts anymore? Can anyone verify/disprove this? and if they are still numbering them, is Sunstreaker getting a number, or is he a special classification like BT*?

hmm, i was thinking. is cybertron optimus prime worth getting? i mean, he looks kool and all, but is his play value worth his price? and how much is he?

What are some transformers that you have seen on the net, or heard about, and thought: 1. Meh. 2. Barf. 3. How much LSD did the designers take? And then you found it in the stores, or bought it because you are a completist, and thought "wow, this is actually a pretty damn good figure" ? I've actually picked up two this weekend. I could not resist the urge to continue to collect the Alternators line, even though I wasn't wild about a couple of the figures, namely Swerve (Ugh, 3rd corvette) and Prowl, who looked like a supersized Spychanger for me. I know he's been reviewed before, just my $0.02. Lion mode, I think, is damn near perfect. Very show accurate, the only complaint here is that the battery compartment seems to droop a little low, causing that squared-off section under his jaw. I haven't actually put batteries in him yet and don't really plan to, not being a fan of light and sound gimmicks. But his lion-mode articulation is excellent, and I have to say I would have liked Beast Wars toys more if more of them had been like this (most of the ones I got I found somewhat lacking). I would have liked a joint of some kind for the head, making the head and torso two pieces and forgoing the sound gimmick,…
