I agree. Voyager Prime is awesome!

 

As soon as I saw the grey proto, I knew this was the Animated Prime for my collection!

 

If they repaint Deluxe Earth Prime correctly, I may pick him up, too.

 

But untill then, Voyager Prime is perfect!

 

I did'nt care for the backpack, though...

to change him back to truck mode, you have to apply a little backwards pressure to the waist. if you do, when you twist him, it will rotate back like a screw. and it helps if you push the waist back down one click after getting all the way up. it seems to help with getting the gimmick to work again.

 

I'll try to get a video up to show what I mean.

I actually really like my "Battle Begins" 2-pack Prime. It's a really strong figure that I highly recommend. I don't have the Voyager version, so I can't say it's worse/better than the 2-pack version, but for anyone who is scared away from the 2-pack because of his or her experience with the Classics set, don't worry, because you will be getting a quality Animated Prime.

At the moment, I only have the 2 pack deluxe, as thats all my local toys r us had when I last went (they should have more now, apparently). And I must say, I whole heartedly agree. Although the megatron isnt that great, I'm in the process of remaking his gun and repainting him, but moving has to come first.

 

I want the voyager figure, dammit.

I love my Voyager Prime. I gave him the axe from the Battle Begins two pack cause for that size, it seemed perfect (too big for a Deluxe IMO). Gave my battle begins Prime to my little sister who likes smaller Transformers. Along with the Megatron. Somebody I know is planning on giving me the Voyager version for my birthday next month. Got Jin Satome's fix page favorited in my browser so I can fix what I have to with Megatron.

 

As for his gravity spin gimmick, I don't have an issue with mine. I have a mildly loose right shoulder, but that's about it.

I got Voyager Prime and he is awesome. I really didn't notice any problems. The ax is a bit lame..but its growing on me. I really enjoy this figure. Now if only he came with a trailer. That would be fantastic!!

fandangit! i found that blu peg that connects to the black waist slot BUT IT STILL SPINS AROUND!!! im actually resorting squeezing in a piece of folded paper inbetween the torso and waist to tighten it. :(
