Is that really true? You mean it doesn't go down or anything? If so than it is an ultimate sh*tpile. I give it 2 middle fingers up. They really need a smiley for that.

yup i've got to agree, any tformer that you can see the head of in alt mode just isn't much of a rid, therefore not making him much on the wanted side he def earned 2 :tdown :tdown

The top part of his head can fold over to cover his face, but the head is still there. Actually, a few times in the show they've had him using his head while in truck mode.

Combination of things - he was the only new mega in wave 1, so he probably shifted relatively well at the start.

 

 

Secondly, between an SUV and a Space Shuttle, most kids are gonna pick the shuttle. On top of that Jetfire probably was sold by name recognition from Armada.

 

The whole turret head thing really hurts what is otherwise a decent enough toy.

he's an ok figure in my book but whats pissing me off about it is the fact that because there are so many of them at all the stores around here there hasn't been any room for them to put out any of the newer waves. no mirage, no shockblast, no cliffjumper...NOTHING!! and it's frickin driving me nuts!!! :fire

 

the alternators haven't been any better. :wtf

Ironhide's design just worse than other Ultra.

 

Most Deluxes wins by design and money.

Ultra is Scorpy, JetFire, Mirage, ShockBlast, Cliff Jumper, Bulkhead, Landmine... Iron Hide just can't beat them.

He looks to bulky and is rather an annoying pest in the start of the show, both things going against him. I quite like his head popping up in vehicle mode though.

No need to worry about that, the latest EE cases numbers show Energon Ironhide's only 1 per case :)
