Just a poll to see what people's favorite TOY SERIES are (not the story lines.. not the movie/tv shows.. just the TOY lines) ... obviously many people will like more ethan 1 but if you had to choose only "ONE" - which would it be? It can be active and your still excited about it or it can be an older one that really did it for you and still leaves an impression on you that non since have done.

 

So what TOY LINE is your favorite??

For me it's between Classics and Cybertron. Cybertron because it just wraps the best of machine G-1 aspects with the aspects of Beast Machines sooo well. Classics because, 'nuff said! ^_^

I aways liked energon

Classics. The figures from my childhood actually done as good toys, and not fragile bricks. What my memories and nostalgia made them. Easy choice to me. Movie line's a respectable second though, I just absolutely dig the hyper-stylized movie artwork.

Energon and Movie, but I voted Energon, they just appeal to me, w/ the combining and all.

I vote G1... sorry my age must be showing. I do like SOME classics, but not enough to say I like them all.

It was almost a three way tie between Energon, Cybertron, and Classics, but I have to go with Classics.

Between Classics, Alts, and MP.

 

Alts didn't have enough variety for me. Cars are great, and they're incredibly well-done... but they're still just cars.

 

MPs... well, MP Screamer is probably my favorite TF mold. It's amazing. But MP Megs is severely flawed and MP Prime is... eh. Let's just say he's overshadowed by his version from...

 

Classics. Classics Prime is my all-time favorite Prime, Mirage is my favorite Deluxe ever, Classics Soundwave is the first time I got the figure I wanted since I was a little kid, the Classics Seekers are the first playable G1Seekers I've had... yeah, this gets my vote.

WOW... i totally disagree regarding the PRIME. MP-01 Prime by Takara IN MY OPINION is "THE" prime and overshadows both classics and the original.

 

 

In addition, I TOTALLY don't like what classics did with the dinobots. G1 dinobats are far better than the classic redo (again in MY opinion). At least WST redid them right. I don't care for the colored gloss plastic whatsoever.

 

 

I have to go with the MP line. There are not as many of them, but they are done very well. I like that they don't FLOOD the market either, but keep you wanting. I would have to go with ALT/BT line second, and the G1 as 3rd.

Transformers Hybrid Style for the win! Even though there's only two in the series, and both being primes; their size, pose ability, and diecast make them a fave for me.
