i guess Im happy we are getting this but leave it to hasbro to make powerglide an Ultra size and Galvatron a deluxe!? WTF!!!

Sunstreaker & Prowl are perfect but what the hell on the rest?

 

I'm sorry but I had to chime in on this. Powerglide as an ultra is bad enough but Galvatron as a deluxe is a JOKE.

Is it really so hard to give us decent updates of the originals. Way to kill any remaining interest I had in the line Hasbro. :tdown

ETA: The Deluxe size is a blessing in disguise, because he's going to look awesome squaring off against a Classics Hot Rod, Energon Rodiums, or Titanium Rodimus on your toy shelf.

 

 

And how are these not decent updates?

It looks like it was supposed to be a titanium with the left hand not having a hole for a gun or something... and they just used plastic instead of metal me thinks... so a delux huh?

Okay, I do agree he should have been bigger than a deluxe. But hey, this looks like a COOL deluxe Galvatron!

Better pics revealed the following. Though the mold is pure win that tank mode unfortunately reminds me a lot of first run Titanium Megatron. I know this is more futuristic/looks better but the design asthetic really looks similar.

 

Bot mode is nice though the metallic purple is odd. If nobody told me I'd swear this was just another 6" titanium. :redface

I'm cool with him being a deluxe, odd choice but it works, especially posed alonside Classics Rodimus. That IMO was an awsome mode and really captured G1 Hotrod without going too far away from the original design.

 

Now where's my deluxe Rodimus Prime Danmit? :tftongue
