I just rather that the larger figures in the new Universe line were Powerglideing Voyagers...

 

Hurts the purse less than Powerglideing Ultras... -_-

Dude, an Ultra class Powerglide is so awesome in my eyes it's not even funny. I loved his toy but it always pissed me off to no end that he was so tiny. Although that did allow me to take him into the van all the time when we left the house.

Yup true, in effect AstroTrain was only a Deluxe, yet in many scenes he had the entire TV lineup inside him.. Wait that doesnt sound right..

I don't want to give the impression that it really matters that much to me... all I was saying is that in a collection of Classics, an Ultra Powerglide would look kinda like BM Nightscream with his buddies. That's all.

P.S. for the sake of Hunter and normalcy: I just think it's weird to have a freaking huge toy made of a guy who was a teeny mini-bot, even if his alt mode is an A-10. Like, it causes me cognitive dissonance. That's all.

What you´re saying makes no sense. don´t you know the difference between character re-use and name re-use?

The landmine is not based on his G1 counterpart.

Alternators had only one size class,and alt windcharger is actually the G1 overdrive character.

 

Anyway:i'm not saying i'm not gonna buy powerglide,Powerglide<---(four letter word),i'll buy all classics 2.0 toys!

I'm just saying hasbro made a lame mistake. minibot is minibot. imagine unicron getting stomped to smithereens by bumblebee,would suck too,right?

i'm already pissed off about grimlock being a deluxe. but now a huge dinosaur will get stomped on by a minibot? yeeeaaaah,right.

Dude, calm down. Bumblebee was a minibot, but he got upgraded to a Deluxe when the Classics line premiered.

Why should Hasbro handicap themselves by 20+ year old toy standards? Back then, minibots were an acceptable size to produce mainline toys in. These days that size doesn't cut it. Even Scout (basic) figures are bigger then minibots.

Classics/Universe is suppose to be an update of classic characters. Not a line to slavishly follow the G1 line. A-10s are bigger then trucks. Therefore Powerglide is bigger then OP. Deal with it.
