TCC Unveils Classic 2.0 Sunstreaker

...okay?

...cause, see, he's really tall in that picture...did the attachment work?

oh that's him in the corner, isn't it :redface I thought it was Skyfire

That looks freakishly large to me. I'd swear that I never saw him anywhere near that big in the cartoon.

How do you know Wheeljack's not just drawn disproportionately large? :tfevil

Seriously, though, I'm not trying to suggest that Powerglide was ever depicted as a big robot. I'm just saying that it isn't contrary to his character to depict him that way in a line of reimagined classic characters.

Powerglide was definitely one of the small guys...

No argument that he was depicted that way. But it wouldn't have changed the core of his character to make him larger.

Well, I do think a Skyfire-sized Powerglide would be a bit off-putting, but that's just me. :tflaugh

Not that I care anyway; Powerglide was made from fail and suck.

Original animation modeled!

Dude doesnt even have to shoot you, just a shoulderbarge and you are in two!!

Actual, Onslaught being an ultra makes perfect sense in terms of a combiner. The main body is always larger than the rest.

Just to elaborate a bit: Energon combiners were one Deluxe and four basics. So one ultra and four deluxes works.

And Powerglide as an Ultra is Titaniums!! I love it.

D'oh!

Yep, you're right. If they go that route then my Cybertron Scout Swindle will be out of a job :(

So where are all the chearing scale mongers in the wake of this Powerglide news?!

Happy that a plane is bigger than a car?

Photoshopped!

lolz

P.S. for the sake of Hunter and normalcy: I just think it's weird to have a freaking huge toy made of a guy who was a teeny mini-bot, even if his alt mode is an A-10. Like, it causes me cognitive dissonance. That's all.

Curse you Walky!

(For the record, I knew Powerglide wasn't ever drawn that big on the show, but I did think the pre-production art was real...a discarded idea or something...le sigh)

I still like the idea of a big Powerglide, though.

I'm not happy about powerglide,a minibot bigger than optimus prime is just Powerglideing bullBlot to me. (wow the censor-filter is appropriate for this)

As one of the "it-should-be-more-G1!" fans here, I'm more bothered by big chars being made smaller than small chars being made bigger. Seems better to say, "Hey, you got an upgrade!" compared to the former which sounds like, "Hah, you've been punished."

Ah, but what would you all do if Punch-Counter Punch became a club exclusive figure?

I wouldn't mind as I'd estimate his overall "must have" popularity to be low enough to fit the volume of a club exclusive release. I'd prefer to see the headmasters, or any of the other Rebirth chars, more widely released before P-CP. To be more specific, I'd rather see a rapidly diminishing number of overpriced P-CPs on eBay than armies of them warming the pegs (apologies to you major P-CP fans out there).
