A show, a comic, something. There needs to be a tie-in for this to blow the doors off.

Yup, maybe we could get a CG style "Band of Brothers" type of show, you know tell the Classix story for Adults, leave the mainline toys series for teh kids..

you know with so many DVD movies for things like hellboy and superman i think a transformers one could work quite well

Who knows, we could go from Classix to the Alternators in the story and include the Japanese backstorys for the Alt toys. It would be interesting in the least to see them actually try.

These are all G1 characters. You want a show? Watch the old cartoon.

aActually I was considering the fact that you hear so many people complaining about the kids show, RID was cool Arm/EN/CYB was a great story arc, but too many complained about the kiddy elements. How about Hasbro recognises the Adult fanbase and gives us a bone. Hell even just 4 hour long shows a year you know Quarterly coming out and they could scedule new charachtor releases to coincide with the show.

I have been thinking more on this mould, A slight retool to a jet form and you could have Universe Sideways, Hood/cannon on the front with an autobot symbol, then turn it around and have a Decepticon symbol with patterns similar to Unicron. The head featuring the Light piping from his Cyb form but with the Autobot face resembling the Autobot symbol.. The horns of the Autobot side paint silver, on the Dcon side paint gold. A couple of holes on the wings could contain a EN Screamer like swordy for the Autobot form and on the hood part have a massive double barrelled cannon so that it covers the Dcon logo. to combine with the swordy into a much larger cannon for the Dcon side..

My only question to Pete is how this situation will entice others to join TFCC. This is getting ugly and can't be good publicity in the very least.

Of course, I feel like laughing seeing the Avatar from the cover of Issue 17 (note, I am NOT complaining about it since that was a pic we posted on our free site lol)

I have done my best to let everyone know, we are not trying to withhold info, we are just trying to beat ebay and to get members an exclusive first look. It is really no different than anything else. I think most people, even non-members, get that.

To be honest, the Club actually has been doing crazy well lately because we are continually raising the bar and offering more and more content and so on by the week. 2008 will be a watershed year for us. All we want to do is make the hobby more exciting and give fans a direct link to Hasbro and to the line we all love... (sorry, that sounded kind of mushy, just trying to make a point)

Then maybe your response should have included "Im glad you liked the image, we have many more exclusive images to members of the club." Not to mention the club is practically USA Only due to the price of membership. Try and branch out into the UK and other countries with membership fees in keeping with the countries current market trends and you may do better. Coming in like a battleaxe doesnt endeer, remember Transformers Fandom is a Community and too many Exclusives separate the community.

Honestly, we want everyone to be a member. Aside from it clearly being good for us (why lie) but seriously, the more members, the cooler stuff we acn do. We are always working on prices, and International prices are and issue we are working on, but we actually do have a large number of International members...

And thanks Buddy, I appreciate it...

My grievance with the club was thanks to being grossly overcharged on S&H for an order then being ignored by the "Customer Services" department. I really REALLY wanted to stay a member. The increased cost of getting the magazine to the UK wasn't a problem for me - I knew that before I joined. Being ignored was something I didn't expect for them prices.

It's never enough, is it. Or maybe you're forgetting the $150 million bone the fans got tossed this summer. Not to mention the new Transformers cartoon which is getting a lot of enthusiastic support from the fan community.

You have options. Yeah there's an adult fanbase, but it's adult fans of a kids' property. It's not like Transformers is ever going to stop being "kiddie".

I never said that it needs to, I said that rather than the Commic books you can only find in speicailist stores, it would be nice to say you know "Thanks for your loyalty over the years so here is a special treat" The Movie is great, infact one of my ATFS but for the adult fans Hasbro could verry easily contact the many Talented fans who make teh CGI vids of Prime transforming, contact the others who make their own fancomics/fics and get volunteers together. Hell for a 1 hr DVD every 3 months or so im sure many would volunteer.

I love that they threw us an Alternators bone with Bumblebee and Sunstreaker. SS looks alot like Alt Mirage. He even has license plates.

The idea that Hasbro has never done this is ludicrous. There have been "special treats" for the fans for years. It's just that -- as I said -- it's never enough.

And if you're talking about fan projects, why does Hasbro need to coordinate that?

Hasbro's never done a thank you in the form of video.

They have done it in NEARLY EVERYTHING ELSE, though.

As for fan project... I can give one huge reason: funding.
