censorship is bullBlot, and i personally won't be the victim of it's abuse. granted if they can provide requested proof i'll have to comply, but like i said it's been up for hours i'm sure it's way more places than just my PB. i'm not going to stir up a bunch of bullBlot, but it's the least they can do, yanno?

also, this is jmo, that message should have been a pm to begin with.

EDIT: I like the mould but would prefer, the arms and legs to have a little more to them.. curious to see Sideswipe and Prowl now,

It was clear from the very beginning that this image was a sneak peak intended for Club members. When I say "sneak peak" it is VERY important for everyone, both club members and non-club members, to know exactly what that means. FP and Hasbro are collaborating to bring members just physical toys and so on, but news and images that you can only see first if you are a club member. Will these images eventually be available to everyone? Of course! BUT, one of the perks of being a Club member, for supporting Hasbro's Official Transformers Collectors' Club, is that we want to reward you for your support, and that means more than just the magazine, the exclusive toys and so on.

This is not censorship, I am not saying you can not say or post any of your own material. But this image clearly belongs to Hasbro and the TCC and I am just asking you to do the right thing and take it down.

Thanks, Pete

My only question to Pete is how this situation will entice others to join TFCC. This is getting ugly and can't be good publicity in the very least.

fwiw, i've taken the discussion into privacy as it should have been. also, i suggest you guys to not give the guy too much Blot, he's just doing his job.

Of course, I feel like laughing seeing the Avatar from the cover of Issue 17 (note, I am NOT complaining about it since that was a pic we posted on our free site lol)

I have done my best to let everyone know, we are not trying to withhold info, we are just trying to beat ebay and to get members an exclusive first look. It is really no different than anything else. I think most people, even non-members, get that.

To be honest, the Club actually has been doing crazy well lately because we are continually raising the bar and offering more and more content and so on by the week. 2008 will be a watershed year for us. All we want to do is make the hobby more exciting and give fans a direct link to Hasbro and to the line we all love... (sorry, that sounded kind of mushy, just trying to make a point)

Then maybe your response should have included "Im glad you liked the image, we have many more exclusive images to members of the club." Not to mention the club is practically USA Only due to the price of membership. Try and branch out into the UK and other countries with membership fees in keeping with the countries current market trends and you may do better. Coming in like a battleaxe doesnt endeer, remember Transformers Fandom is a Community and too many Exclusives separate the community.
