So far the main continiity has been an enjoyable read.

The only spotlight I don't like, is the Sixshot one, mainly due to the art (he is a good colourist, and has improved, but the actual transformers he draws aren't nice to look at)

Art wise, I can't choose who I like more, E.J or Nick.

One is precision and conveys all the information in the panels beautifully. The other has so much energy and emotion per page from giant metal beings)

Don, is a great designer, but I think he draws better stories with organic looking transformers, like the movie or Beast Wars stuff.

Spotlights are made of win

The main story 'tion' stuff rocks my face, damn good science fiction.

Am I the only one surprised the mini wasn't titled Megatron: Origination?

Just finished Escalation: Damn, nothing ever seems to go right for the Autobots anymore. I call Scorponok as the head, and Nightbeat so killed the fascimile. Now, is it just me or does it seem that Prime doesnt really care about human life as much as he sais he does?

yeah, Nightbeat totally killed him while following orders from you-know-who. Well, at least it's been hinted to be Galvatron simply because we were told he'd be in the Nightbeat Spotlight. Can't wait for that Galvatron Spotlight to come out.

I was actually wondering if Nightbeat *did* kill the facsimile. For all the other little misdirections we've got in this series, that one seems a bit obvious.

also, is the Galvatron spotlight late? I thought it was suposed to be out in May.

I assumed that the facsimile self destructed because the Autobots didn't catch him in time. Didn't Prime say they only had a brief window of opportunity to catch him before he died?

So I was rereading some older issues...

Did Thunderwing's first attack on cybertron happen before or after Shockwave disappeared? Because if Bludgeon was ordered to look through his files, it took him forever to find regenesis, and soundwave was on his mission to watch Bludgeon for a long damn time.

ta-da

a little google found me this off the allspark.

A nano-klik is approximately one Earth second

A klik is about 1.2 Earth minutes

A cycle is about 1 hour 15 mins

A mega-cycle is about 93 hours

A deca-cycle is approx 3 weeks

A stellar-cycle is 7.5 months (there or thereabouts)

A Meta-cycle is about 13 months

So the timeline rolls out as...

10,000 years ago: Shockwave discovers Energon is drying up, concocts Regenesis, ultimately taken off-line by Dynobots, Bludgeon is assigned to look through his lab and Soundwave is assigned to watch him

1570: Cybertron becomes uninhabitable, Thunderhead Pass battle occurs

1984: Bludgeon acquires Ore-13 from Earth, buries Soundwave

1989: Ultra Magnus vs. Scorponok on Nebulous

2002-2003: Official infiltration units apparently arrive for the first time, under Starscream and Prowl

2005/Now: TF: Infiltration and Stormbringer begin

Shortly prior to Escalation #3: Nightbeat's search for the first Ark, recruited for Earth duty along with Hot Rod and Hardhead

The Hot Rod and Sixshot Spotlights could've occurred virtually at any point after Thunderhead Pass. The Kup Spotlight probably occurred more recently, given Prowl's appearance, putting it anywhere from around shortly before the Infiltration Unit arrived on Earth in 2002 until sometime during the present series of events.

so far

Thanks mirrorS, now I can display my comics in chronological order... :redface
