No gut goes uncrunched on MY watch.

Gutcruncher was monitoring the central security hub at the Decepticon Penal Colony Styx when Hot Rod introduced a virus to the system to cover his break-in. Eventually, the virus pops all the cell doors, forcing Gutcruncher to call a "Code-Nine" alert, which instructs all officers (likely including himself) to immediately evacuate to an orbital platform to await a clean-up squad.

I liked the whole Meanwhile... thing going on where we get a deffinate timeframe of when all of this is happening, someting more vague and annoying at times with other Spotlights (I'm looking at you Ultra Magnus!)

The bulk of UM's spotlight is 30 years or so. At the end, it says something like 29 years later when he's arresting swindle again, which is when he said the "back up to his old tricks again" line that was mirrored in Escalation 1 or 2.

There was a lack of actual Galvatron though. He seems so much less crazy here, maybe when he breaks free from his mysterious master (teehee.)

All my money's on Nemesis Prime. His appearance in Escalation 6 + the reference to the Dead Universe + allusion to the dead matrix = U. Nem Prime.

Nem Prime... How I loathe your concept.

Almost makes me hope it actually it is Ultimate Plot Device, Devourer of Worlds.

Actually, I think the vision of the big floating head wasn't Nemesis Prime, but IDW's version of Primacron. But that's just my baseless theory :tflaugh

Is that wheelie asking if anyone can hear him? On Prime's left on page 1?

And is that prime behind OP on page 3 the same one from the galvatron spotlight?

The galvatron spotlight or the Megatron origin?

To me the Galvatron spotlight was as much about Sideswipe (the not to him in Prime's spotlight is great, "He just wont let it go!") Overall a very good read.

Is it just me or are alot of characters not getting proper reworkings now? I mean in the beginning EJ Su updated every character, now they seem to being thrown in as you were..

I think from a galvatron flashback to the ark...but maybe it was origin.

I think it depends a lot on who draws them first. I know Su didn't get to design Hot Rod's cybertron mode.
