Speculations on the sequels.

Exactly, which is why a large portable soundsystem would be better.

So he could be like a CIA van or a military communications Humm-vee.

^This to me seems to be the most logical choice for an alt mode.

I may have taken this wrong,

But in the movie Scorponok transformed out off Blackouts body, This also answer the question why scorponok has text like "fuel" on his body, He is a part off blackout.

When I comes to soundwave, I really like the "cybertron" stealth plane as an alt and bot mode, and they could make ravage and laserbeak transform out off him as well, the toy allready had that with laserbeak, but i was thinking something different than him being a bomb in his alt mode.

With Laserbeak, Ravage, Rumble and frenzy we'll also get an combiner....

...an alt mode combiner that is...

what you think?

I just wonder if VTS and Tramp are actually listening to the things they're saying.

I just can't see Michael Bay being okay with magical shrinking robots.

This is so a serious question... Does he have to be involved with the second one?

Mass shifting is ghey, though.

FACT: The Allspark used mass-shifting in the movie.

FACT: The Allspark was shoved inside Megatron and overloaded his systems with a massive surge of energy.

FACT: G1 Megatron could mass-shift.

Hypothesis: The Allspark passed its mass-shifting ability on to Megatron when it was shoved inside him, and in the sequel, Megatron will have the ability to mass-shift into a hand-held blaster with an alien design(since it's easier to get real guns than toy guns in America).

Of course, it's also possible that when the Allspark created an all new body for Frenzy, it passed on its mass-shifting ability to him too. Therefor, the sequel now has potential for versions of both Megatron and Soundwave that are more G1 accurate.

I put too much thought into this :07redface

I think the debate of whether or not mass shifting in any transformers movie would be unrealistic is pretty much.......ridiculous. Lets take a look at how "real" this movie was. Giant Alien Robots come to earth, are able to change and transform into vehicles and everyday things, speak english, are in an innerstellar war over a Cube of Life Giving energy which changed from the size of a warehouse to about the size of a shoebox.....Now thats what I call realistic.

The filmmakers, audiences, and critics who would complain about the realness of mass shifting in the next film need to complain about something more important...like character development.

Its a sci fi/action/GIANT PowerglideING ROBOTS FROM SPACE movie!!! Reality should not even be in the argument. Bring on a tape deck Soundwave

Ok - serious question for your quesion - Name some action directors you'd want to replace him and how they'd make the Transformers themselves work better than Bay did...please.

My sentiments exactly...It's a movie about toys/robots from space. Gee...how realistc is that. I mean...How realistic is a lightsaber? HOw realistic is a guy that can turn into sand, or got super powers from a radioactive bug? Movies are full of suspension of disbeliefe. I mean how realistic was this movie? Yeah I enjoyed it immensly but still...

I don't think that Mass Shifting will damage the movie at all. I mean they DID use it in this movie. Now the idea has been established so I think that in future films the audience would be much more accepting. I mean they are aliens with technology beyond our comprehension. It's not such a leap to them being able to mass shift, as far as the audience is concerned.

NOw I don't believe that soundwave should be a tape deck though. I mean nobody uses tape decks anymore. They would need to update his form. If they go with some kind of big military communications behicle that's cool. OR they could go with some kind of CD/MP3 portable "Boombox" device. Of course that kinda makes the tapes a difficult prospect.

I just wonder if VTS and Tramp are actually listening to the things they're saying.

The things we're saying about what? I know the stage idea could be a little far fetched but what if they made him one of those fold out stage trucks that could totally work then he could even be blue.
