Here's my non-flowing jumble of ideas for the sequel:

 

New Autobots-

1. Inferno (A big-ass fire truck transforming would just rock.)

2. Tracks (I like the 'don't scratch my paint job' mentality, plus Corvettes are GM)

3. Mirage (Just to see a F1 car)

4. Grimlock (Takes the form of some sorta tank, then gets berated by Prime for not taking on a less peaceful form)

5. Prowl (Maybe- cuz I loved someone's idea of Sam freaking out, thinking it was another Barricade)

 

New Decepticons-

1. Skywarp (Teleporting playing catch/keepaway with a human)

2. Thundercracker (Just for the seeker trifecta)

3. Soundwave (Just cuz)

4. Constructicons (Like Inferno and Mirage, I just wanna see different vehicles)

 

Plot points-

-During an early battle, Grimlock kills humans collaterally, but shows no remorse. He and Prime square off, but before it comes to blows (or right after) Grimlock walks off, to return and perform his trademark "Me Grimlock save the day" during the climax

-Megs is resurrected/builds a base underwater, and throws down against Starscream- like in Infiltration... no more one-liners. "Once again you fail me Starscream" Ooh. Big whoop.

-Flesh out the Decepticons! I was left oh so wanting. For all his time in the previews, Bonecrusher did SQUAT. There was no devious Starscream. It's like all the Decepticons in the movie got their one scene to shine and were done.

-Keep all the expanded stuff out until later...Unicron, Quintessons, etc.

Nemesis Prime? (more for like the third one or something)

I can see the title now that they've somewhat been established as earths protectors.

 

Transformers: Robots in Disguise

I would not be surprised in the least if Prime adapts a firetruck mode alongside Ratchet. As for new guys I'd be cool with Prowl, & Hound, maybe Tracks (less ghey sounding/no car flight mode) all showing up.

 

As for the Decepticons. Megatron's dead & Starscream finds more Decepticons in deep space. The main ones I really want to see are Astrotrain (one shuttle alt mode) Soundwave (a stealth bomber) Tidal Wave (until they find a better name) (US Aircraft carrier) & Shockwave (Transforming satellite.

 

Dinobots/Constructicons/Insecticons need not apply. :tftongue

if they do use the dinobots the better be robotic/ vehicles, cuz i dont think a live action beast former would work. i did a rough photoshop mock up of a live action cheetor using bumblebee and pics from real cheetahs. the result was pretty scary. i really think that mass shifting on the big screen wouldnt seem right, and make to sense to the genral public.

i love the idea of prowl coming in, as long as hes not barricade. i loved barricades character.

i would love to see ultra magnus *that actually uses his trailer*

i'd bet anything well get some cliched subplot about a group of people trying to find evedince of the transformers and the government denying it

I just want to see in the next an autobot jumping over from one side to another of two structures in car mode, but when in mid air transforms to bot mode and shoots a persuer and turns to car mode back right before landing.

If they do an Aircraft carrier TF, will Combiners still be relevent? Tidalwave on the Atari game has got to be where Bay got that idea from and Tidalwave was several times bigger than Devastator. Optimus and crew were Minicons compared to him.

As far as a storyline (haven't read past the first post*didn't read all of that* so hope Im not repeating)

I'm thinking the TFs will be revealed to the world and every one will Fear and Hate all transformers XMen style and eventually the Dcons will be doing things to make the humans not trust all TFs. More than likely Starscream will be back and more of a major character. Bumblebee and the kids will be on various spy missions while Ironhide is getting upset about the Human hatred situation and he'll be wondering if he should even help us but then someone's gonna turn him around.

What's with all the Dinobot haters.

 

Just because they're called Dinobots, doesn't necessarily mean they have to be dinosaurs. I remember somebody's idea in a movie Dinobot thread, that they have militaristic vehicle modes, but their robot mode heads have dinosaur like qualities to them and this leads Sam to dub them Dinobots.

 

But characters I would like to see at some point if not in the second movie, maybe the third.

 

Autobots:

Wheeljack

Prowl.

Ultra Magnus. Not a Prime look alike either. And he doesn't have two robots where one is a white Prime either. He should transform more similar to G1 Motormaster where his cab and trailer are all one robot.

Sideswipe/Sunstreaker

At least one Autobot gestalt (Computron/Defensor/Superion...take your pic)

 

Decepticons:

Shockwave

Soundwave

One other Seeker

A triple changer

One Decepticon gestalt (maybe to keep it on par with the fact that all the Autobot ones are five member teams, we should only have the options of Predaking/Menasor/Bruticus/Abominus)
