Okay-

The design is revolutionary. It is in the new "stylized" form of many modern cartoons. It is what I was expecting pretty much 100%. I don't hate it. I don't love it. I do, however, feel that, while the basic design elements are there, I'm almost certain that's a horrible pose. I mean, he's bending over and leaning inward- no animation model looks good like that. I'll wait to reserve my final judgment for when I see the series, which, cast and crew-wise, sounds very promising.

^I agree

Now, when they say that it's a new twist on the original series, are they taking the original stories from the series and kind of updating them for the 21st century, or are they just doing another continuity altogether?

I'm still a little hesitant. I'll wait until protos start popping up for the toys as to whether or not I'll buy them. As of now, I'm kind of on the fence, and I like to get Prime and Megatron figures.

And why does he look like G1 Prime with Cyb Prime's head?

I'm just a little surprised they went this way, I mean with the movie and all I would have thought they'd want to try and keep the cartoon more in line with it. Of course they're not going to be connected, but I would still think the styles would be close.

As long as the story is good and it's on at a reasonable time, I'll give it a shot.

Your sig made me think of something. That pic of Animated Prime is Nipples on the Bat suit.

Its not bad

Wtf?! All they did was put Hellboy in Optimus Prime underoos and hid his tail. :tfhuh :tfpuke

Normally, that's how things happen.

Well... at the very least I think this will make all the movie-design haters appreciate the movie designs now...

Um, not to keen on this design. Hopefully the other bots might look better.
