Once again - I'll say it - I'm not telling you or NATO or 1987olds442 or anyone else who said their opinions in a good way or who was critical of it in a more constructive way to not express your/their dislike. I'm not telling anyone to never voice their opinion. I'm saying that those that feel/act like this is a slight against their fandom or that they wish bodily harm or name calling a person for working on a cartoon like it will ruin/be the end of their fandom/franchise needs to probably shut up and re-think this. This is just another part (a stepping stone if you will) of our fandom/franchise, it's not the total ruining of it. Just like the movie isn't either. Take that how you will.

Congratz on being a teacher and dealing with criticism, but I'd hardly call some of the negative comments even remotely constructive.

I just said it sucked.

Maybe you can't see it clearly enough from that high horse?

Probably so.

Did anyone notice how it says on the promotional posters that the new series will not air until Fall 2008? That has to be a typo since I really don't see how Hasbro can stretch the movie toyline out for a whole year, especially since they seem to have a policy against releasing original molds, of non-show characters, that are larger than a deluxe. What are they going to do, repaint the hell out of the existing movie voyagers and release nothing but deluxes between now and Fall 2008? They could make voyager molds of Bonecrusher and Brawl but what would they do for the autobots?

I'm sure there's a plan. Even if it only involves Robotmasters or Classics-ified BW/BM figures.

Hmm looks like about 3-4 waves of Classics! :tfgrin Which sounds good to me.

Just as long as there are no giant screaming heads or stupid sweat drops.

after seeing this, I love the movie designs.

This thread makes no sesne. The art looks awesome.

*Tries to divert everyone's attention from stupid argument*

Hey, hey! I'm a street performer!

I'll give it a chance, but I'm probably about 20 years too old to really get it.

That being said, considering the amount of negative attention this has received already, I'm amazed this ever got through CN focus groups and whatnot. Just imagining the long line of executives and marketing types who had to have looked at that picture and said "looks good to me!" is baffling. Still, CN must have some faith in what they're doing to go this route... I hope.

Yeah, negative attention from some adult TF fans who already know what they like. I'm pretty sure that CN cares more about what kids think of the show, since that's their demographic and stuff.
