I bet the wages of the BotCon staff are lower than them of the Hasbro fat-cats - FWIW.

Wages? :eek

If any of them are making anything from the con, it'd be a miracle. :redface

or just get completely Blotfaced and go on a flaming rampage! Either way I'm sure it will be a whole lot of fun. :argue :danmit

Botcon again just means overpriced toys that end up at smaller conventions around the country from people trying to recap their lost money.

In the words of JB: FLAME ON!

I said nothing of Outback probes I simply invited you to do business in good faith and tell us why it is so much more than SOME of us feel is reasonble. (Happy 939?)

I assume you have good reason. I just want to hear it. I think this is a reasonable consumer question. Why so much?

Well, whoever (if anyone) is making any money from it. All these "UR GREEDY BUGGERS!!!" accusations are flying round; but Hasbro are probably far worse.

Whatever, Comon Pete. Where's the beef? :danmit

at Wendy's

The only thing I have to say to ANY of these "UR GREEDY BUGGERS!!!" accusers is this: volunteer for a convention. ANY convention. Better yet, head up a department at a convention. No pay, no respect, in-fighting with other convention heads, just words of discouragement and leering from unappreciative little nitwits who don't know the amount of work you have put in (for NO pay), and then let's see how they fare. God, I will NEVER work a convention again, and I will always have a high level of appreciation and respect for any ONE of these people who work for a convention.

IN a previous post you might not have seen yet, I've gone as far to say that perhaps $30 or so and $50 for deluxe/voyager would be a lot more reasonable. I'd be willing to pay that, for a boxed set.

These are basically the price points that 3H (the people that formerly ran BotCon) used for their last set of exclusives and they went out of business. I think what you are not realizing is that part of the price of the exclusives supports the cost of the actual convention itself.

THUNDER FATCATS, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :mwahaha

Nobody's said its part of the cost yet.
