What do you NOT like about Transformers?

Hardcore fanboys, higher prices, piss poor distribution, flawed public relations and the crap they've been churning up after Beast Machines.

5. :usa Our great us safety laws ( no G1 Megatron,Metroplex or fort (brave) max reissues)  :usa

All I have to say about safety laws is that you guys sound like a bunch of brain-damaged bikers bitching about helmet laws. I actually have children, unlike many of you, and believe me when I say that I'm glad the US has the sense to enforce higher safety standards than other countries. But hey, who cares about child safety, when long smokestacks on 20th Anniversary Prime are at stake? :stone

Hey, well if the US had some gun laws then maybe you wouldn't need such high safety standards. Also, try educating children not to eat everything. Oh, I remeber why we need so many projectile laws, its that whole generation of 80's children who died from short missiles.

I seriously do not like the inconsistencies in timelines/origins and lack of character development. I do not like how Unicron (who is suppose to be the ultimately evil in the TF universe) has so little character development. We should see more and hear about foreboding revelations in all series in the timeline that link up to the TF:TM, that an unknown event/character will force the TFs and their universe to the brink of extinction. The entire Armada series story-wise was IMO irrelevant and deviated way too much, so I am discounting it. I also do not care for how when the characters maintain the same names in the varying series, they do not use their personalities and/or memories from the previous series. That is something that annoys me since it would be nice to see further character development, especially considering how old many of the TFs are. It would also be nice to see them grow (so to speak). Additionally, I would like a definitive timeline to be established and if some of these series are alternative universes, then clarify it for the fans. On this note it would be incredibly ambitious for someone or a company to analyze all the differing series, in the USA and JP including anime, comics, manga, and toys, and create a chronological timeline/flowchart w/images. It would be better yet to find this accessible on the net. Lastly, in regards to the toy, I wish we the fans in other countries could buy directly from Takara and could ALSO participate in those damn exclusives and lucky draw contests with some of the best kickass prizes. :tdown

I wish you could make a TF series... Really. :roll

I know this post is got some critizism in it. But I mean are you affraid of something? I see people talking smack about TF Toys and there designs all the time on this forum. If you want I'll go get some quotes. I'll have about 10-20 of for ya' and I'm sure a lot of people here will agree.

But like I said What do you "NOT" like about TF's? There's always good posts, but this post is to actually steer inside you what you want out of Transformer. Its not to disgrace, well it is, but your just going to have to mature enough for it ok? Have you play Grand Theft Auto for the PS2? Which do you think is worse? Blowing people up or talking E-redical smack about something?

Dude? What's with the flaming?

Hmmm... I don't like... mmm...

No, there isn't anything I don't like about Transformers. :clap

Not to turn this into a argument but I too have a child. I also was a SMALL child when the orginal metroplex was released as well as the others. I was told by my mother and father 'not to put toys in my mouth. If I was hungry to go to the kitchen.' I also do the same thing my parents did for me. Take the time to raise my child and not the US do it for me. Look at what my child plays with, discard of broken toys, use parent guards on the computer and TVetc. It should be left up to the parent what is safe for their child. Not the goverment. If the toy is safe in another country, why can they not be safe here? :redface Not trying to start an arguement at all. But there toys with small parts. That can swallowed (GI JOE guns, gundam, zoids parts :wave ) and they are sold everyday

Yes Motorcycle helmets should be worn. [i have one of those too] :thumb

Excuse me there, but just in case you are not living in the US or you live here and are just a moron, the US has gun control laws. Actually, we have too many gun control laws. The laws we have in place now need to be enforced. Gun control laws make it harder for law-abiding citizens to obtain guns. Criminals, who by the way are not known for abiding by laws, or gun control laws, will obtain guns illegally, hence they are criminals! Also, check out the crime statistics in Washington D.C. where it is illegal to own a handgun. See how many people were shot last with a hand gun. Oh yeah, guns don't kill people, people kill people.

It's completely ignorant to claim that kids won't try to eat stuff, or won't do any other kind of stupid stuff, just because you say so. I don't consider myself to be a bad parent, but you know what? Sometimes -- SHOCK!!! -- kids don't listen to you. So enough with the "raised by TV" crap, all right? So the parents, not the government, should decide what's safe for their kids? Then I suppose the government shouldn't be requiring immunizations or school attendance either. What do you think the purpose of a civil government is? This whole argument is stupid because the whole reason any of you are arguing against safety laws is because of your precious Fortress Maximus. You get no sympathy from me. Again: :stone

I agree U to a degree but in other countries are they having children choking to death from the toys? That is why I have a problem with it why is it ok in Hong Kong or Japan and not here? I understand G1 Megatron because well it does indeed look like a gun and I know first hand that cops don't take time to ask questions as they should :roll but in a case of Brave Max I have one I don't see any parts that could harm a child. Perhaps I am idiot but I take my time (not saying u dont so remain calm :redface ) and play with my child. I am asking in honesty not to argue just have HEALTHY discussion :wave It boils down to each person making a decision what is best for U as a consumer and parent that is the best part of america freedom of choice :thumb Now as we move back to topic and leave the negative alone. It was just my opinion i will not force on u nor do i think u are wrong for not agreeing with me. Bottom line America is a free country

BACK TO TOPIC ----> I also dislike that there have been no new bases in a while

Well said. I sincerely apologize if I have offended anyone with any of my rants and associated blah. I didn't mean to and I'm sorry. :tfsad

With that being said, back on topic. :tfgrin I dislike plastic wheels. What if you were actually driving an 18-wheeler like Armada Prime and it had plastic wheels. I bet that would be the bumpiest ride ever. Oh yeah, the tires would probably melt after a few miles. Man, I bet that would ride like sh*t! Kind of like this low-rider a friend of mine had.

Oh well. I like the funny posts. There are some talented (and sick) people that post on this forum. I have never laughed so hard in my life. I'm going to think of a funny topic or something. Madhammer, help me out on this dude. Let's start something ridiculously funny.
