Heeeee's Here!!! Woot!

To bad I cant play with him at work

Pretty bad the color scheme, he is all plastic and he is smaller than Prime...mmm I'm going to pass this Starscream, at least for now, until a show accurate version.

i am still awaitin arrival

dunno

By the way, what was the reason for making a not show accurate Starscream? :tfhuh

The same reason MP-02 isn't show-accurate.

To pass US safety standards, and be durable enough to be sold as an actual Toy, Hasbro are going to have to make a few changes to the toy. So, even if they start out with the exact same mold, it;s going to end up at least a little different in terms of construction.

By the way, what was the reason for making a not show accurate Starscream? :tfhuh

The same reason MP-02 isn't show-accurate.

uh?

It doesn't make sense. :tfhuh

They are different figures, so you think that Starscream isn't show accurate because UM is white? WTF :wtf

If you don't know, UM is a white Prime with an armor, at least MP-02 is a white Prime but Starscream...

Pretty wrong answer. :tflaugh

UM isn't show accurate because Takara decided it was too expensive to engineer transforming armor and/or got lazy. SS's colors have nothing to do with laziness. They went out of their way to paint him the way they did, for whatever reason, and even "cared" enough to create a whole new mold, though many fans wish they hadn't. Whatever motivated to Takara to make SS the way they did had nothing in relation to their motivation for Magnus, which was just a quick and dirty repaint.

As for the safety standards, what's dangerous about it? Is the plastic too brittle to pass the drop test? I've heard some reports about cheap plastic being used, and I'm hoping the one we get ends up being a lot more durable.
