Is Hasbro going release this version of Starscream like they did with MP Prime here in the states or what? I'm curious because they didnt release a version of Ultra Magnus so I'm wondering what Hasbros plans are. If they dont I will eventually buy Starscream because he is after all my favorite Decepticon. If Hasbro dont release their version of him then they are really missing out because I think a Hasbro version would sell very well here in the States.

Well the Hasbro board did indictate at Botcon that a North American release of SS wasn't out of the question. They even went one better and said that it would be worth buying both MP-SS and Hasbro SS, which to me means... COME ON PROTOTYPE #1!!!!!! And I would certainly be willing to shell out another $60-$75 for a proper SS, ie first proto in the correct colors.

You're talking about the difference between something you can get at the local Wal-Mart vs. something produced for the Japanese market, which is a lot smaller than the US market. When you produce something in higher quantities, you can afford to mark down the price.

 

 

Plus, y'know, the child porn that comes with the Kiss stuff obviously raises the price....
