I for one like it alot. I'm glad some people dont like it though, that means it should be easier to find one of these bad boys once they finally hit the market.

:pfx

It will be nice to actually get an altinator you're really hunting for.

A car turning into a robotic cat is just too cool. Bet well see this in a car commercial.

^ That's my baby :D

I wonder how many of the people complaining about this fig are gonna buy it any way when it comes out. There are over 20 Alts to chose from right now plus Takaratomy exclusive repaints/remolds. If you've been a completist this long, meaning Rico and Rollbar didn't stop you, then how can this Awesome(IMO) fig stop you? I think he's 100 times better than Ricochet. Even in his present prototype state.

we wants the precioussss

Actually one of those flat-deck tow-trucks would be pretty cool for Soundwave (like the other dude said, his G1 incarnation (and Cybertron version) can only carry one "cassette" at a time anyway)

While either that or a full-blown car carrier would be sweet, my guess is that they'd just be way to big to be doable. Even a tow truck based on a full-sized pickup would use a LOT of plastic... but it would make for a sweet Hoist repaint. :thumb

Oh sure, the toy could, but the on the show he could carry ALL his cassettes. That maked the toy non-show accurate :tfevil . So to Alt Soundwave (when he happens) more show accurate he needs to carry all his cassettes so I'll stick with the car carrier :thumb.

(No I'm not being serious, use lots of sarcasm while reading this)

because they were robots. not animals... i'll probably get it and leave it sealed in alt mode simply because I am a completist with alts...

It's a Robotic animal just like the original Ravage, Laserbeak, Ratbat ect. None of them had a humanoid robot modes either.
