Interesting. Mixed feelings on my part:

 

- Happy that we're getting new molds and cars.

- Disappointed that the transformation looks relatively simple.

 

I don't, however, really care about the fact that we're getting a "second" Ravage; the first one was, if I'm not misataken, supposed to be BW Ravage anyways.

 

I will laugh SO DAMN HARD if TakaraTomy ends up adding this one in their Kiss-Players line... :D :D :D

 

If I'm not mistaken, BW Ravage is supposed to be G1 Ravage... :schin

Well, what I originally meant was that while G1 Ravage and BW Ravage is the same character/spark/whatever, it's still different incarnations of a character...

 

Besides, I care less for the characters themselves, and more for the actual new toys. (I mean, for example, if they somehow decided to give us an Alt Super Fire Convoy (RiD Prime) as a new mold, I'd be happy, but I'm sure a lot of people would not be happy about getting a "second" Prime in the Alt line. Hell, people weren't happy when there was a first Prime in the Alt line. Maybe using a Convoy/Prime wasn't the best example...)

that's like asking "Why does G1 Prime exist when we have Powermaster Prime?". i doubt that Hasbro had Alternators planned this far ahead when they made the first Ravage.

 

as for the toy, i like it but i'm under the impression that alts have been cancelled due to Takara bailling out.

Now we just need to find the other 4 to form Voltron!

I really like the original Ravage. His sweet black paint job and his unique kitty head. I've never been a big fan of transformers with no humanoid bot mode. I'll probably get it when it comes out though. Now they need Soundwave has a car carrier so he can still carry his cassettes around.

Wow I thought people would be excited about this. When I saw it I was like OMG!!!!

 

The way I have my TFs displayed is I have new versions and old versions under them. Right now I have my Ravage Cassete under my Ravage Alternator and it just doens't look right. This will looke great.
