The only reason he is arguably is because he's still around. If he did what he does today in the middle ages there wouldn't even be a debate about it.

What's changed between common folks in the Middle Ages and today?

1. Education. In today's society there is a basic level of compulsory schooling enforcing a core level of literacy and numeracy. During the Middle Ages, most folks were illiterate and only the rich and powerful classes could read and write. Knowledge = power. (yet we have ungrateful kids today who Starscream about being forced to go to school... perhaps they'd rather a world with forced child labour in coal mines... :tard ).

2. Modern mass media. herald.hear-ye.net ;)

Actually it was a temple.

Temple = place of religious ceremony/worship.

Church = a type of temple for Christians and Satanists (both religions refer to their organisations and temples as "churches"). All churches are temples, but not all temples are churches. E.g.: synagogues and mosques are temples, but they are not churches. :)

All hail our divine lord, Astrotrain!! I choo-choo-choose to worship thee! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/t...px-C-ralph2.jpg

You're right. It's been an extremely long time since I've seen that episode.
