Okay, it's been a long time coming but I have officially had it with the stupid Wallycrons, Tar-jays, and TRUs of Florida.

Never anything new, EVER!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I think that my local stores intentionally overstock with old crap just to frustrate me. And to make it worse, today a little kid at a store yells... YAY!!!!! ENERGON IRONHIDE!!!!!!! And he dove for it like he found Primus (with head) or something.

So now, I have turned to the online stores for my TF fix. I got my Alt. Mirage from Digital Toys two days ago, Cybertron Unicron comes today from ebay and I just "bought it now" for a Cyb. Menasor. I might pay a little more, but at least I will finally get something that I see every other fan enjoying and save the money on gas while 'hunting'.

End rant - carry on everyone.... thanks for being there.    :wave

I bet that kid was happy 'cuz he got to buy a toy and stuff

BTW you live in the wrong state, I've had to wait maybe a few weeks after stuff is originally sighted but I always find it eventually

I live near LM so that means I have to wait a week or two after he finds something and then we have the same deal. I hate waiting though  :tfmad

Mazinkaiser: I share your pain man. Retail stores around Western Sydney often sit on old stock for an eternity before we see new stocks. I will often travel over 40-50km to shop at other places which are better at getting new stocks. Although when those areas start sitting on old stock too, it gets more frustrating because I just drove forty clicks to find the same crap that's shelf-warming at my local stores. :P For that reason I usually only travel extensively to hunt for TFs if:

1) Local Transfans have sighted new TFs in other areas which are not available around my own immediate area.

2) I happen to be visiting another Transfan, so we decide to go TF hunting together. It then becomes a social thing.

3) I'm utterly desperate.

lol @ Lazerblast for not paying attention to the WHOLE reason (ie: overstock of old stuff) that I am quitting stores, which literally was contained in the rest of the frikkin' thread. Selective reading is such a wonderful trait.  :roll

lol @ assuming I didn't read the whole thing :roll  :roll  :roll

Seriously dude... do you EVER post anything that is positive?  :roll x infinity

The better question is... Do you ever pay attention to anything positive that I post?

Quit being immature and take what I say seriously. I didn't post it to hear crap from you.

Actually, I tend to ignore most of your posts just for that reason.

Oh btw.... and lol @ a geeky tfanboy telling someone to stop acting immature.  :thumb

You ignore my posts because they're positive? WTF? :wtf

Stores around here have collectors pictures up on the security room wall.

They see us coming and run down to the shelves, hide all the good new stuff from us and watch and laugh behind closed doors.

Wander in, walk past the empty shelves, look around a bit just in case someone HID something close.  And walk out the door with out stopping.

Don't need to go to the gym any more, just walk through the stores real fast.

Scalpers that DO get their hands on stuff round here are really bad.  Not only do they get the shipping dates, but bribe some of the workers to hook them up, cleaning out all the Alt Primes and Primuses around here for miles.

$70 for Primus?!?!  No thanks!

Never did get Grimmy and Swoop combiner team.

Had to go to the bay to get the Dreadwing remake...

I haven't bought TFs at retail in a long time. Mostly all on ebay or trades from here. Been too busy in getting G1 or exclusive items, which is why I am so behind on Cybertron.  :tfevil

I used my time wisely and did this during that debacle known as Energon. Ok, maybe it wasn't so wise. I spent waaaaaayyyyy too much $$ on G1 during that time trying to get the fix I needed but couldn't get from Energon.

:tflaugh

Y'know, it's funny... as soon as I think I'm about done with toy hunting, I start seeing reports like this.

:redface

For the last few months, I've been reading about sporadic Alt. Prime sightings in and around my area. I couldn't find him, so I ordered him from BBTS. The day after he comes to my house, I went to a Target that had both him and Alt. Mirage.

:redface

Well, I've STILL got Alt. Camshaft on preorder at BBTS. I cancelled Mirage, of course, but what kills me is as soon as I decided to start preordering these things, they start showing up at retail in droves.

:redface

BTW, my Cybertron Primus showed up today. Now, I haven't found him in the store yet, but I'm betting I'll go out tomorrow and find him.
