Why do humans never get killed in TFs?

Blot, it would be so easy for humans to get killed by a misfired missile or crushed to death by a car or a tank during a battle... They're always in the way but they never get killed. I wish I was that lucky.

I agree - the Japanese cartoon and Marvel comics, people did get hurt and killed. e.g.: Josie Beller, Jan etc.

Heck, the only reason why Fortress Maximus is the only Headmaster binary bonded to a human is because his original Nebulan partner was KIA. Well, Daniel was binary bonded to Arcee because he was badly wounded... but nobody cares. :P

PS: It doesn't need to be graphic. It can be suggestive and still get the point across. For example, we don't actually see Jan's parents dying when they're killed by Destrons, but we do know that they were killed, and thus their surviving son was adopted by Star Sabre... much like how we never directly saw Harry Potter's parents being slain by Voldermort in The Philosopher's Stone, but we know it happened and we know it was horrible. Not all horrible death scenes need to be done in the style of Quinten Tarantino. :P

Not a problem with characters getting killed, infact if helps the drama of the story I'm all for it, but gore doesn't serve a real purpose.  You can get the point across far more dramatically without lots of severed limbs and guts everywhere.

Killing is fine and can work. People being crush by a failing building, stepped on, being shot is fine, if done tastefully and to mess with/move along the plot and story.

Killing for killing's sake is usually just done to shock or "put it to" people.

And TF cartoons usually don't want the ramifications of slaughtering humans on screen.
