Why do humans never get killed in TFs?

The US is more sensitive about most things.  Mostly because law makers and many parents seem to think TV should be a nanny and they shouldn't have to bother with watching what thier kids see.  They want it to be safe so they can ignore them and get on with what they are doing.  Sorry went ranting there.

yeah, americans are really selfish bastards. if it inconviences them, they'll simply outlaw it.

There was a cartoon that came out in the mid 80s about a young girl, she was about 8, 9 years old who accidentally got sent to another planet where she was killed at the end of the series by these rather large robotic looking mosqitios(spelling?).  I think it was a French cartoon, not sure, it was in English anyway and it was pretty good.  Her death was nicely detailed when the bugs flew down at her just as she was close to returning to Earth and they drilled into her head, she died seconds later just as they were starting to drill into her body.  They should show violence like that in cartoons again, it made a fitting end to a very good series.  Can't remember the name of it though.
