i'm glad its a street car. how many race cars does on e see out on the street? i know i haven't seen one gt out on the street yet, but its moore than likely i will. beside if it was a race car driving down the street, wouldn't that be suspicious and draw the wrong kind of attention if your trying to blend in with your surroundings the bad guys don't point you out. just thinking in case a story is made

Anyway, the design is great. I love how the chest is similar to G1.

If it was just one piece with the chest, it'd have more o' that T-shaped look like the front of his old Formula 1 form.  But maybe there's a problem with doing it that way.  It's nits, anyway.  He looks totally ready for business.

i think this is going to be one of, if not the best of the BT/ALT's.  I like everything about it so far and can not wait to see it fully painted and in vehicle mode(even though I Know what one looks like). Kudos to Has/Tak on this one!

i'm waiting on the poll for the alt mode color, white/blue stripes, or blue/white stripes :tflaugh  he looks good, where are the photoshoppers to paint him up? by now there'd be like 4-5 photoshops of him painted up

I guarantee it won't be white w/ blue stripes b/c there's already a Ford Alternator with that exact color scheme.

The vents on the side and the bulge at the top of the head are similar. I think the antenna and the less roundish shape throw people off. It looks more like an uptade rather than an exact copy which I like.

it's possible that Hasbro is borrowing elements from both the animation model and the G1 toy.

Haven't seen anything on day 3 but it's probably safe to say Mirage stole the show.

It is a racecar, it's just the version that consumers can purchase.  Ford has been racing the GT in the LeMans race for about forty years.

It's basically as close to a street race car as you can get.  Do some research on the Ford GT40.

I can't wait for this guy. I have not been this excited about a figure since BT Jazz. I love the car (eat your heart out Ferrari) and Mirage has never looked better imo.

 

I hope that he is in the on deck circle for next release after Skids.
