Alternators Mirage

personally, i found the prototype ugly but that's only because it was unpainted, mistransformed, and broken. i'm sure the finished product will be much nicer and i probably will buy it.

[on topic] Aside from the head, Mirage looks like a home run to me.  Here's hoping they don't drop the ball by going banana Tracks or Alt Wheeljack and using "official" colors as opposed to the blue and white G1 theme.

Now, Mirage will make a very interesting Copformer. Ford GT with a lightbar, anyone?

 

 

I'm thinking he might look a little awkward with the huge roof on his back. If there's no way to remove it, I'd paint the inside black so it's not as noticable.

since each charcter is getting an upgarde, mirage is getting one of the best ones. figure looks great so far, doesn't seem to have any articualtion problems. that one of the most importan things to me. his face doesn't like g1, but still very nice. i'm very excited and cant wait to place him on me shelf.

i'm waiting on the poll for the alt mode color, white/blue stripes, or blue/white stripes :tflaugh  he looks good, where are the photoshoppers to paint him up? by now there'd be like 4-5 photoshops of him painted up

I see some similarities with G1 Mirage in the head.

 

 

The vents on the side and the bulge at the top of the head are similar. I think the antenna and the less roundish shape throw people off. It looks more like an uptade rather than an exact copy which I like.
