Are we even certain that the Alt. GT40 will be named Mirage?

 

If it is, I would assume that either (1) Hasbro has reached an agreement with Mitsubishi, (2) the trademark of Mirage for a car does not apply to Mirage as a toy, or (3) the trademark protection for Mirage has terminated.  We just saw a Mirage in the Energon line, so there doesn't seem to be a problem.

 

No matter the name, it's still a great mold.

mriage as a character has been used in bm, rid and energon, i don't see a problem, plus maybe ford don't mind

so according to Entertainment Earth, Mirage's shipment is suppose to be June, anyone seen him in stores yet?

I haven't even found Prime yet.

I know it's not out in the US yet, and I think it MIGHT be out in HK (ther was a photogallery from the Japanese Image Board). It won't be long though.

 

EDIT: And don't think this is really news, and the topic title is kinda misleading

Most likely late June before it hits US shores.  Look for it on ebay from Hong Kong sellers, then wait a few weeks after that before the US chain stores start to stock them.  That's more or less been the trend for alts.
