UPDATE: These BW toys are going to be Target Exclusives so 90% of the fandom will have difficulty getting them. even when they're trying to be nice, Hasbro's still screwing us over.

ouch. you act as if they raped your dog or something. i think theyre doing a great job. we say many homages in energon and more in cybertron. sure armada was a bomb but we did get unicron. id sit through armada again to get unicron again. but this thread is a lost cause. all people know what to do is Starscream.

I think that is one of the most intellegent things said in a while, why are you people comeplaining about what you arent getting instead of what you are. Granted, artmada and energon blew chunks all over the fandoms feet. However, as Shajaki stated, they are finaly doing what we have been wanting them to do..... listen to us. We got Unicron..... not G1 Unicron, but a Unicron none the less. Now we are getting a PRIMUS!!! I mean, he's the god of all TF's, and we asked for him after getting unicron, did we not. WE wanted Alt exclusives, we got those. There's still the possability of the reissue line staying alive thru their site, with the slight, probably not going to happen, possability that they will even distribute the takar reissues. Now answer me something people..... WHAT THE FREAGGIN HELL ARE YOU Starscreaming ABOUT?!?!?! I think Hasbr has improved quite a bit, and to them, the appreciative people thank you. To the rest of you who think that they havent improved.... just keep your Starscreaming going, and make yourselves look like bigger asses than what you already do.

huh? how is that? Target has been one of my best sources for getting figures...

Beast Wars 10th anny  is being put out there for the collectors.  Which means its gonna be in much smaller numbers then the original release, and since the kids that grew up on Armada, Energon, and now Cybertron didn't see Beast Wars originally, or were to young to remember it, many of them won't give a damn about the figures.

 

Honestly feel lucky that the figures are being put out at all.  Much like the G1 reissue figures Hasbro can only afford to make them if they have a contract in place with a dedicated seller ahead of time.  The name brand toy stores in the US are dying.  KB is gone from all but the big cities.  Toys R us keeps closeing stores.  So that leaves places like Walmart and Target as the big sellers of toys other then online.

 

So they make a deal with one, and we live with the fact, I'm sure you'll see the figures in online stores soon enough.  They aren't gonna let this get in the way when they just need to buy a few cases and pass the cost on to you the Fan who will buy it online jsut because you can't find it in a store.

 

hasbro doesn't always make the right choices, but I think they are doing a decent job considering.

ugh.. target. meh. my town doesnt stock shelves greatly with tfs anyways. i have no problem goin to evilbay for these guys. and all of them in fact for transmutate. and man do i ever want to see picks of dinobot. even if all they did was give him better paint apps ill be happy.

I love Hasbro for what they make, and I've hardly ever spoken out against them, but this doesn't change the fact that they're still one of the most slipshod, ramshackle operations I've ever seen. 

 

I always say, Hasbro has got to be the most mismanaged company since Sega.  Despite the quality of their products, they have ABSOLUTELY no idea how to market or distribute them.

as for marketing and distributing, doesnt really bother me. i dont get everything in my stores. if i want something enough i just find some other means of getting it. though um making it sound easy. i can easily get half of every line from my stores. i couldnt imagine having to import every piece from my collection. actually the thought is currently scaring me.

That would truly suck, having to order everything. I thought Baltimore was the last place on the map to get new stuff but I can say this, I've seen every TF figure Multiple times for months at a time. Even Meister and Tracks. Hell, even as late as May, there was a single Meister sitting on the shelf for a month straight.

 

I do have to admit though Prowl and DCharge hasn't made it the stores I have immediate access to and I've never seen Wheeljack in stores. Swerve, I had to stake out TRU for a week straight to snatch it from the stock clerk. It was so disappointing opening the box and seeing Grimlock and Swindle again instead of Prowl but at least I got Swerve.
