Energon is my favorite series. I like the toys(Grand Convoy is my fav) and abaslutly LOVE the plot.

P.S. Did anyone actuly WATCH RID? It got good near the end when Brave Max showed up,

It got good save for the last episode which was so out of whack that i really sat there with this WTF look as it closed off.

When I say it's got kiddie humour I'm refering to episodes like that one where Rhinox got that virus or whatever and defeated the preds with a fart. Stuff like that is annoying

Oh, and I never said it sucked. It just had little things that I didn't go for in a TF universe. If they had no beast form until they landed, then why did they have names related to what they turned into. If they had different names before they landed,why would they change them? I thought the show was excellent but still a second to G1 in my OPINION.

everybody except Megsatron changed there name. Thats why they said there names in the first ep.

wow dude look at G1 that so called " Kiddie humor" is constant in it, kind of threw yourself into a wall there, and besides there isnt one series in any show that doesnt have its childish episode/scene. It happens in every animated show and G1 was filled with it.

I really liked G1, I have most of the boxed sets and I really enjoy watching them. G1 still holds the title for best theme song (Season 2 and 3)

 

Beast wars was a good show but them messed up the showing here, they only showed it every school holiday at varying times so I never saw it all. I have also never seen one ep of BM.

 

RiD holds the title for worst show ever. Sweating tfs, burping tfs, tfs who imagine themselves in badly drawn Chibi forms. The story was crap, and why did the trains tf with the folks inside them? I must have missed all the blood trickling from their joints.It had the most incompetent Decepticons ever.

 

I love Energon and Armada, but Energon is the better of the two. More adult stories with more deaths, entire colonies being wiped out, etc. Energon is pure class.

ha ha dont know about anyone else but I love the song from the movie "you got the touch!" XD dont know why but that song is as 80's as it gets and latley ive been listening to alot of 80's music.

There were exactly two episodes in 52 from the entire BW show that had the "kiddie humor" you're referring to... Besides, "The Low Road" was kinda funny, the only episode I really hated was "Go With the FLow" because it felt like a G1 episode in BW...

for the most part, BW was a pretty dark and gritty war story. I admit it got a little confusing for me as the series went on, but then again, each to his own. I think some "kiddie humor" was appropriate now and again, or the story would just get so dark that it would become depressing. (considering how many characters were lost during the course of the series.)
