Ideas for possible Alternators

Recommended Posts

What about reports and pics of Alt. Prowl, that Acura Integra?  I doubt they would be making new molds if the line is going dead.

BT may not be doing too hot, but from most people's reports (those who still get Alts regularly at stores  :tfmad ) Alternators is doing fairly well in the US.

So long as Hasbro continues to do Alternators, Takara will probably continue to contribute to new designs.  Although Swerve and Decepticharge might well be the start of a string of Hasbro "quickie remolds" done to bulk the line.

Some are also wondering if this is the reason Prowl seems less impressive than the previous offerings.

However, I have now seen that BT Prowl will be released in July, with the Decepticon repaint of the Honda 2K released in September as BT Wildrider.

1. Reports of Binaltech toys being shelfwarmers in both Japan and Hong Kong

2. Binaltech lagging more and more behind Alternators

3. Still now news about any new releases beyond Wheeljack

4. Binaltech being put on sale by online retailers only 1-2 months after their initial release

Shall I go on?

I say its because of the smurfin diecast.. :tfevil TEH EVIL ONE HAS RISEN!!

Well, the problem is if you make jets in this line they're either going to be crazy huge or ridiculously small. The point of Alts and BTs was pretty much making a scale vehicle turn into a robot. The jets would be REALLY big.. and most likely not cost effective.. and the alts would be dwarfed severally.. make them to small, you ruin the whole scale thing..

Anybody remember this? It's the first thing I thought of when I saw the pics.  :thumb

VIPER! (I think)  :clap

I think the Magnum would be a better fit...but regardless, an Alt. Ironhide would be nice just for the sake of having a G1-inspired Ironhide toy with an actual humanoid robot mode.

Meh...unless it's a minivan, truck, or SUV, it's not Ironhide.

I don't like that as Ironhide...

MG sums it up for me: Truck, Van, or SUV.

That's a nice car though.

If they ever make an Ironhide, I'm buyign the BT version and the Alt version without question.
