2 things.

-Is this on every version?

-I just figured there where alot of Decepticons in space crashing at all different times with a few image scans preloaded via Cybertron. That would explain so many Decepticons looking alike

It sounds like this is mainly on the single disc version, I rented the movie yesterday just to see the robot parts again and I noticed that the Soundwave in space and damaged prime looking up slowly clips were both basically copied and pasted into the movie again. However my disc still contains the dreaded "Give me your face line".

Also it's funny since this is the second time I've actually seen the movie and now I seem to notice every tiny detail now. But the best part is that my dad and I watched it together because he saw the first film and both wanted to see the sequel and figured it be a sort of bonding moment because he knew I had just gotten into collected the toys, and I gotta say it was hilarious with his commentary, here's some of my favorites:

After watching the Twins: "Son did you just put a box of nails in the blender or was that robot just talking?"

After seeing Devastator: "Gotta say the CGI has gotten alot better"

After seeing Devastator's balls: "AND THEY MARKET THIS STUFF TO KIDS!?"

After hearing Soundwave: "Du Du Du Du Du, Inspector gadget, Du Du Du Du Du, WOO HOO"

After Sam and the gang get the matrix: "So wait, a boy, his girlfriend, a wierd kid, a pair of "special" robots, a one bot kariokie machine, and what I'm assuming is a rapist all find this ancient key thing but an army of super intelligent alien robots can't figure out where it is or simply kill them and take it from them......why did I agree to watch this with you in the first place?

It's funny how a fan of the franchise like me and someone who has only seen the two movies can agree on so many things regarding the film.

I never owned the original 85 movie on VHS, just the first dvd they put out of it, and OH SHIT was in it, so I was unaware of that. Also, I could understand why there would be dialogue changes for different languages, this happens with Japanese Anime all the time when it comes to America. Our words don't exactly synch up so things gotta change. And Director's Cut are exempt from my hate because you have a choice! You can choose to watch the Director's Cut... OR the theatrical version! There is nothing added to ROTF so how could he have "finished it"? He just took stuff out of it.

And this isn't only on the single disc release. The picture in the first post is of a Walmart Blu-Ray release and mine is a K-Mart Blu-Ray release. All the Blu-Ray releases are two disc sets.

I doubt "Give me your face" was taken out because of fan complaints if it is still appearing in various versions of the film. And they didn't change a thing about the movie besides taking things out, nothing about the Primes has changed.

White Prime Rip Off: On mine he said Devastator during the first overhead shot of him, his mouth didn't even move in sync with the word, not to mention I didn't hear him say this in theaters at all. You'd think he'd roar his name to the heavens as he unleashed hell but naw, he just says "Devastator." as tho you just selected him in Mortal Kombat. Not in a real exciting way, but not exactly bland either. Kinda lame. If anything the only good thing of this is that Welker sounds like he threw a hint of G1 Megatron in it.

Blitz-Wing: I don't think Hasbro will know anything about why Bay and Co couldn't simply just put the movie on disc the way it was, rather then be idiotic about it and have multiple releases that all differ from each other.

Yeah if anything was edited out I doubt it was because of the combined fury of the fans, otherwise the movie would probably be only a 10 minute film consisting of the forest fight scene, Devastator's formation, and the Jetfire scenes.

I don't even mind the cuts all that much but what kills me is the use of stock footage in at least 2-3 scenes of the film. There is no reason why a movie in today's generation needs to use stock footage, especially with a budget as large as this film's.

Don't know what version you guys got. I got the 2 dics special edition, everything is there including the IMAX version and additional lines.

I wasn't talking about different dialog tracks for different languages. I was talking about slightly different dialog tracks for different regions of the same country. The same language. For example, In SW RotJ, The scene where Han has to shoot the Sarlac tentacle to save Lando, there were a number of different lines Han used in the original 1984 theatrical version, depending upon which part of the country you were in, for that same exact scene. For the Special Edition, they finally chose one of them for the whole country. In ESB, the scene where R2 got spit out by that swamp monster, there were at least two different dialog tracks, One where Luke said "You were lucky to get out of there," and another where he said, "You're lucky you don't taste very good," (or something to that effect). Two different dialog tracks in the same language. Also, "finishing" a movie they way you intended doesn't necessarily mean adding things to it. It can also mean removing things you don't like and didn't really have time to edit out or things you though would work originally but now regret leaving in.

What sfx shots are different or missing? I have the Target Bumblebee case version, haven't watched it all the way thru yet. I'm still enjoying it tho.

Did they fix Soundwave's voice though?

No, he sounds exactly the same. And actually, if you take notice, they reuse the same scene of him TWICE! TWIIIICE!!! The first time he boots up and his maw expands as he speaks, then the camera floats above him to show him from the back looking down on Earth. That scene is used twice. Fucking laziness.

And I get that there is a lot of Constructicon clones but get this. Soundwave signals for all of them to plummet from orbit, in France and at the Aircraft carrier. But Mixmaster is clearly seen on top of a bridge in the USA (New York I think), slapping away the flag BEFORE the rest are called to Earth.

THEN, when the battle at Egypt starts, a DIFFERENT set of protoforms crashes to Egypt. Where the hell did all those other Decepticons go? I find it hard to believe that they just re-protoformed and shot back into space, only to re-fall back to Egypt. They can't transwarp (because they didnt do that at all in the first place) and I doubt a bunch of Construction vehicles can get from France to Egypt without raising a few eyebrows. Hey theres a 3000 ton dumptruck driving down the street, its bigger then the road itself but I'm going to assume thats normal. I guess they all are just hanging out in France and the bottom of the ocean, eating crumpets and flicking crabs around. I got a better idea, lets just do a bunch of stuff, and then we'll hastily paste it together to form a terrible motion picture and cash in! Im just so pissed right now!

I hate this movie even more now. The inconsistencies are even worse the second time you view it.

If you notice, Ravage shoots down twice so maybe they can fly.

Yeah I just watched it again on my computer and the line was crystal clear. Must have something to do with my tv's crappy sound set up. Also I was lmao at your mortal kombat line, but yeah when I first saw this in the theater I thought megatron was yelling devastator. They just kinda threw it in there like the one shall stand line in the first film.

Just because it happens more times then I was aware of doesn't make it any more savory. It's like icing piss jello with shit. Either way it tastes horrible before and after. So glad I didn't pay for it.

I dunno, I think Ravage can just go so fast he's like a friggin rocket. Maybe not exactly flight (he didn't exactly stick the landing), and flight is a pretty big tool offensively, I just couldn't believe that if the Cons could fly that they didn't use it. Plus why be a dump truck in the first place if you have speedy flight in the first place? Just rambling.
