Just because it happens more times then I was aware of doesn't make it any more savory. It's like icing piss jello with shit. Either way it tastes horrible before and after. So glad I didn't pay for it.

 

I dunno, I think Ravage can just go so fast he's like a friggin rocket. Maybe not exactly flight (he didn't exactly stick the landing), and flight is a pretty big tool offensively, I just couldn't believe that if the Cons could fly that they didn't use it. Plus why be a dump truck in the first place if you have speedy flight in the first place? Just rambling.

When you are a Constructicon, you have to be a dump truck

They werent called Constructicons in the film though. All Im saying is that if they could fly to begin with, why not just scan flying alt modes? Faster, and a hell of a lot more included weaponry then what normally comes attached to a cement mixer.

And I get that there is a lot of Constructicon clones but get this. Soundwave signals for all of them to plummet from orbit, in France and at the Aircraft carrier. But Mixmaster is clearly seen on top of a bridge in the USA (New York I think), slapping away the flag BEFORE the rest are called to Earth.

 

THEN, when the battle at Egypt starts, a DIFFERENT set of protoforms crashes to Egypt. Where the hell did all those other Decepticons go? I find it hard to believe that they just re-protoformed and shot back into space, only to re-fall back to Egypt. They can't transwarp (because they didnt do that at all in the first place) and I doubt a bunch of Construction vehicles can get from France to Egypt without raising a few eyebrows. Hey theres a 3000 ton dumptruck driving down the street, its bigger then the road itself but I'm going to assume thats normal. I guess they all are just hanging out in France and the bottom of the ocean, eating crumpets and flicking crabs around. I got a better idea, lets just do a bunch of stuff, and then we'll hastily paste it together to form a terrible motion picture and cash in! Im just so pissed right now!

 

I hate this movie even more now. The inconsistencies are even worse the second time you view it.

mixmaster and the other constructicons were there before the other cons, they were one of the groups of decepticons that remained in hiding on earth after megatron's death.

And the protoforms that rallied to soundwave's call were simply used by megatron and the fallen for 2 reasons:

1. to escort the Fallen to earth

2. As an act to show their power and dominance over earth

 

the protoforms that landed in egypt were more soldiers from megatron's army on cybertron after the decepticons took over.

The "Give me your face." line was in there. As for Devastator saying his name, that was never in the movie. The only time his name is said is when Megatron is calling him from the top of the pyramid. Other than that, no other time is it said. The only thing I felt seemed different was didn't we see Ravage escape Diego Garcia too after Reedman. It felt cut off from the theatrical version. I don't remember hearing Rampage say "Sam Witwicky" when he's standing between Sam and his parents. That seemed like a welcome addition. The only reason I found this out is my brother was watching, and being a partially deaf, we usually watch movies with the subtitles on. So it was either there an unintelligible, or it was added.

 

Those were the only things I noticed as differences. Everything else seemed exactly the same.

Ok, so i bought the 2 disc DVD. I have to be honest, this is the first DVD I bought since the first Transformers film. I was going to get the Target Bumblebee case, but at the last minute said screw it. I liked the clear plastic case my Target exclusive Optimus Prime DVD Case came in for the first film, I didn't like the cardboard/paper board case the Bumblebee package came in.

 

As far as the movie, it looks awesome of course. I have had the DVD rip since it came out a few weeks ago, but having a hard copy does look a lot better. Glad my TV upscales video. Also, I ended up finding the IMAX Blu-Ray rip online at one of my usual haunts (which I shall NOT name).....I like the added scenes done in IMAX, especially how it filled the 16X9 frame of my Panasonic HDTV. I am happy with the purchase cause I like looking at all the special features on some movies. I haven't noticed anything "missing" myself yet though...however, I do wish they added the effect to Soundwave's voice.
