Omega supreme... hmmm... is it Omega Supreme that we want or just an Autobot THAT HUGE?

 

Because I was thinking, if we have the Dinobots, and they are all to scale with the dinos they copied the form of several million years ago, then Sludge would be MONSTEROUS.

Remember the scene in Jurassic Park where we see the Brontosaurus for the first time? Imagine that turning into a Transformer...

 

Though now that I think about it, that still wouldn't be OMEGA SUPREME HUGE... grumble grumble....

 

 

I named OS because I couldn't think of another. But maybe they could do a combiner team too. Like Superion maybe :tfgrin

I like the idea of Omega. I think TF3 should take a page out of Animated and bring in Omega Supreme as an Autobot Space Ship (the Ark) which brings more Autobots to Earth, Hot Rod, Prowl, Alpha Trion.

 

I doubt they would do that since every times 'bots or 'cons are summoned they just come in entry mode.

First off, I'm going to ask you NOT to list ANY DECEPTICONS, as I'd like to wait and see how this thread goes before we broach that one.

 

This is a combination of "curiosity" and "I'm writing a story and I want to see which robots ought to be in it", but honestly it's also a big part "The robot characters are SOOO under utilized in ROTF, why didn't someone just ask us what we wanted to see done with them?" and on some level I hope someone important will read this thread and take note.

 

I ask you to keep your suggestions "In the vain of the Bayverse" so if you want to "mix it up a bit" with a particular character's personality you can, but keep "plot usefulness" in mind.

 

I am a G1 Fan, however and would honestly like to seek harmony between the bits of the movies that are awesome, and the awesomeness of G1 that should still be respected, so feel free to make suggestions.

 

I'll go first:

 

MAIN AUTOBOTS

 

OPTIMUS PRIME- Obviously not gonna change much. (though I'd like a good reason if he's gonna execute someone) He's the great compassionate leader and something of the Autobot's ambassador to the people of earth. He likes children.

 

BUMBLEBEE- Sam's faithful gaurdian and friend; he can speak now, but often forgets and just talks through his radio anyway. He's good friends with Arcee. He also likes Children.

 

ARCEE- The youngest, but most tactically intuitive of the three sisters. She strikes a good personality balance between serious and friendly, and perhaps could even be referred to as 'Spunky'. She likes people, but not as much as she likes making them indirectly uncomfortable about the fact that she's a robot, and a female robot at that. Her hobbies include drawing, and picking on Sideswipe for "Being unique among all Transformers in that he turns from a vehicle into a giant tool", but it's really all in good fun.

 

SIDESWIPE- One of the Autobots other than Prime to become something of a celebrity in the wake of The Fallen's "big international reveal". He gets to be in many commercials and is currently working with "Leo" on making a calender featuring pictures of himself in cool poses with attractive ladies in bikinis. (No wonder Arcee thinks him shallow...) However he still takes his job as an Autobot warrior quite seriously, and for the most part fame hasn't gone to his head. (Much).

 

WHEELJACK- (I think he should be voiced by Hugh Laurie) General all around "Genius/Loony/Inventor/Wizard guy"; whether it's making coffee makers that look like bombs, or bombs that look like toasters, he's got it covered. Generally a little bit spacey and very eccentric, most Autobots would rather square off with Megatron than enter his lab, due to his penchant for blowing himself up. Was once a pupil of Shockwave's and gets to have the honor of finding the location of the Dinobots. Rumored to be indestructible after his last experiment involving converting fruit into organic TNT.

 

DINOBOTS- Five legendary warriors of the Temple of Primus, (in the vain of Hercules and other mythological heroes) who supposedly went off in a ship called The Ark on some kind of mysterious quest. (This is not entirely accurate, years of passing the tale down from generation to generation have garbled it far beyond its original truth, but THEY were REAL.) Have been 'sleeping' millions of years for the time when they will be needed to help save the Earth. They appear in lieu of the Bots having a Gestalt team. I actually think that for a change, instead of their terrible grammar being attributed to some kind of stupidity or speech impediment, it should be the result of their heavy broken-english/ancient cybertronian accents. They probably sound a little Russian.

 

SECONDARY AUTOBOTS

 

CHROMIA- The serious sister, watches Iron Hide's back and assists with keeping the team's psychological Morale up. In her free time she likes to make Metal Sculptures.

 

IRON HIDE- Prime's right hand man, and responsible for the keeping the team up to peak combat condition, and managing the team when Prime is away. Lately has been having 'dreams' about a planet that eats everything in it's path. Weird.

 

MOONRACER(?)- The friendly sister. has been serving as Mikaela's guardian since Arcee and Mikaela had a "disagreement". Likes to cook for some reason.

 

SUNSTREAKER- If he's in it, he should be Sideswipe's (slightly vain) mostly laid-back, spaced out, 'kinda surfer' talking Brother. His and Sideswipe's relationship would replace the "Twins" from ROTF, with Arcee occasionally 'assisting' with the bickering. He calls Bumblebee "Bumble-Bro".

 

And all the other Autobots are just supporting cast, appearing in 'water cooler' sequences and other appropriate but not spotlight type scenes.

 

Did you like that? I'd love to know! Like I said, I think I am going to write a story of my own, so I'm trying to get ideas.

With Arcee being the leader of the sisters—at least according to her toy bio and being the one in the movie primarily addressed by name— her being the youngest really doesn't work. As for the third sister, Moonracer isn't an option because Rankin Bass holds the trademark for that name. I also don't see the humans being uncomfortable about Arcee and her sisters being female. It's a non-issue in RotF, as it should be. It's not something that needs to be made a big deal out of.

 

I do agree with a lot of your list though.

I was enjoying the initial ideas untill I got to Sunstreaker.

With the line up you have, I'd like to see Prowl introduced maybe telling Beachcomber, Brawn, and Gears what to do.You know, as a cut to side deal. Maybe they're building something, I don't know, your story...

One thing that I wouldn't mind seeing are Targetmasters and or MiniCons. As much as I hated Armada, I did like the fact that it brought back "small" Transformers which were part of the story. I wouldn't mind seeing the Autobots have their own minions ala Blackout/Barricade/Soundwave

hot rod - Young, over eager to fight.

springer - tactical, smart.

kup - old battle-hardened, experienced.

blurr - newest member desperately wants to please magnus.

cliffjumper - bb`s brother, sarcastic, suspectful of humans.

hound - pure soldier, honourable.

blaster - as a nemesis to soundwave, a counter satallite, (could they be related?)

 

id like grimlock but still not sure how they can get that to work.

Well, one thing that appeals to me about the idea of Arcee being the youngest and the leader at the same time is that it is a little unusual and awkward, and there are probably some Bots that would be kind of annoyed that a squad leader is one of the younger Transformers on the team. My idea is that her more "middling" personality balances out her more serious and more "bubbly" older sisters; she may not be the most experienced of the three, but she can manage both the others intuitively and with relative ease.

 

I only called the purple bike by the name Moonracer because I don't know what her "Official" name is yet, heh. :tfgrin

The Sunstreaker thing is one of the reasons I've been trying to get feedback on my ideas, and I thankyou for sounding off on it. I do want him to be the 'less professional' of the pair, as it would be a good contrast to Sideswipes "I'm a skilled professional" attitude.

And on the subject of Prowl, I've actually come up with a REALLY good reason to put him in the plot, and it could allow for those others you mentioned to appear as well...

Since Sideswipe seem to be made of badassery, you should have Sunstreaker show him up by killing a 'con in a more :awsum way. Just a suggestion though hah ;]

Since Ultra Magnus is nothing more than a white Prime clone, I could see Bay killing off prime again, only to resurrect him as Ultra Magnus in order to destroy Unicron and Galvatron (reformatted Megatron) Whoops, sorry about mentioning a 'Con.
