So I got him in today, still haven't transformed him, he's so bulky and massive ( then again this is my first leader figure) I'm having quite a bit of time posing him. His accessories are pretty neat love how his cane and gun pop on and off.

 

Overall I like him the more I play with him...now comes the task of transforming him...ugh....

I've had a hell of a time transforming him from robot to vehicle. Prime is easier. Transforming him to combine w/ Prime is kind of cool though. It's just massive.

he's easily the best figure in the line.. well.. in my opinion.. starscream might get that honor when we see him.. but you should pick prime up.. he's on sale at a few stores.

 

 

 

I haven't had this much trouble finding a figure in a while.. i'm usually able to find figures early, or a few days after people start finding the figure.. but this one.. i cannot find him anywhere. plenty of new scouts, deluxes, voyagers, ultimate bumblebees, superions, & titaniums.. but no new leader figures. lame. i hope i'm able to find jetfire before these sales end. knowing my luck i'll probably find him the day after the sales.

 

hopefully i can figure out a way to modify the combined mode so it looks a little more accurate. i have a snap together model of the SR-71 waiting to be cut apart and fitted to primes legs. i wish there was a way for jetfires feet to wrap around primes, and i wish there was a way to shorten the shoulder panels in combined mode.. but i guess i'll have to wait and see what i can do when i get it.. oh.. and i'll be painting jetfire all black.

If you haven't done any rounds lately, I'd go on Saturday. That's when many stores seem to restock (especially TRU, and it's often when Target does a mass restock). Anyway, I haven't seen him yet either. I think his "official" release date was just yesterday. I think we just have to be patient. He'll be there any day now.

 

Anyway as for the other leaders...I've had little interest in either leader Megatron. Leader Brawl from the first movie was pretty cool really, but for whatever reason, I got tired of him fast and didn't really have a hard time parting with him. Everybody loved 07 movie Prime, but the RotF one is miles better. Lots more accurate, and doesn't have tons of bulky parts hanging off everywhere. There are only two things that the RotF leader prime is missing that the 07 movie figure had; Individually articulate fingers, and rubber wheels. RotF's hands are completely stationary (can rotate at the wrist, though) and his wheels are just plastic. They're not big problems, just little details that they got right the first time and didn't really need to change...

I think that should answer your question. On top of that I just simply have NO interest in leader prime or leader megs. I am being very selective about the ROTF toys, hell only brought three figures from the ROTF line including Jetfire.

 

I agree about Starscream though, I didn't pick up his voyager might wait for a repaint....but if he really does have a leader I'm on it.

 

Like I said my area sucks plus I live out in the boonies so getting Jetfire online saves me the hassle of trying to find him in stores and saves gas. I like him he's a nice figure. I removed the arm kibble from Jetfire though, looked so pointless, now he looks A LOT better. :thumb

I cant wait for Jetfire to come out. I love that super huge jet mode

Picked mine up yesterday. I'll have to break him out of the box this weekend!
