Leader Jetfire is on pre-order for July 1st on amazon.com :yay

 

I found this out last night and promptly did so. However, to tide me over, I picked up Legends Prime and Jetfire who also combine, albiet not in great detail. But it's still kinda fun.

 

I wish I would have known earlier, but either way I have to wait until monday when I get paid to pre-order him( if he's still in stock online). I find everything else that people are looking for ie superion etc, but no Jetfire. I thought about buying his legends or his RR but I figured I'd put that money to "good" use.

 

 

I have the Robot Replica version. Actually kinda fun. The one thing I like about the first movie RRs was they had lower arms that were interchangable w/ their weapons. Ironhide is the only one that would fit in either series considering his weapons are always (or at least it seems) partially deployed. The ROTF ones all have their weapons deployed and are stuck like that.

If you have any of them, can you put up a Vehcile mode shot next to MP Skywarp?

I spotted Jetfire this morning at the Allen Rd Wal-Mart in Peoria, IL. I didn't pick it up, as it's not that great in my opinion. Really blocky with pegs on his chest for the combining feature I suppose. So if anyone's in the area, they only had one.

I've got my Jetfire on preorder from Amazon. Will be here Friday. I'm looking forward to him. I liked him in the movie. It was very entertaining to watch him.

Woo hoo! Thanks for the heads up! (I had heard about it before, but had forgotten the preorder) I just Preordered Jetfire, and since I've never used AmazonPRIME! before, I was able to get overnight shipping for only $3.99! And with no tax!

 

I get 30 days to try out APrime, to boot! (I can cancel at anytime within the next month before they charge me. Though, if it works as well as I'm hoping it will, I might just go ahead and pay the $79.00 for the year and ship me stuff fast and cheap. Hells yes.)

 

And because of the AP shipping...I'll receive mine on the 2nd! (that's what they claim...) This is going to be awesome.

 

This is even cheaper than retail! No gas money spent, no taxes, technically no shipping costs beyond $4.00, and no wonky store prices. And since none of the stores around me even have a chance of having this guy in stock, eBay's not an option at $80.00+

I know his toy may not be all that great, but I enjoyed him and his character on the big screen, that was enough for me. :thumb

 

I have to wait until the 7th but than again its an estimate delivery date so he may arrive sooner. I agree with Autobot32, evil bay is not an option.

I love Amazon Prime. I get stuff quick. The $79.00 a year is soooo worth it. It saves me in the long run on shipping, gas, and time. Been a member for a few years now. Get updates on upcoming items based upon my purchase history (I get emails about upcoming graphic novels that are written/drawn by people involved in TF TPBs I've purchased). Amazon also has a marketplace kinda area for those items that are available, but not directly from them, and they can offer a list of who's selling the specific item, highlighting the low item price (this is pointed out after they list the shipping price). That's how I got BWNeo Magmatron and Sharp Edge vs. Hardhead set.

Just checked my Amazon acct, and they're prepping Jetfire for shipment right now. I'm so excited. Friday cannot come fast enough.

AAAGH! you guys are killing me! I had been trying sooo hard to hold out for toys r us to have him in stock, only because ROTF has helped me rack up the rewards points like crazy... but I can't take it anymore!!
