I do have to agree that it is far too much money for a toy thats not a true combiner. Other than that I really don't have any problem with it. the Transformers line has never really done what I thought they should, so why should I be upset now.

 

That said, I want an awesome G1 style classic-quaility Devastator like the custom we saw a while back. Thats what I want!!!!!

 

Either that or a straight up re-issue. I dont like the fake devastator they released last time

Joking aside, I'd totally love Hasbro if they they made Legends class figures of the individual Devastator robots that turned into vehicle mode, and also had them to where they could combine. :tflaugh

 

Anywho, from a occasional kitbasher point of view, I'm glad Hasbro did Devastator how they did. Just think how silly it'd be to buy multiple $100 sets to get maybe one or two figures to kitbash on?

I will bet anyone any amount of money that down the road, some independent company like FansProject will create a way to unite the Deluxe/Voyager figures into Devastator. You hearing this FansProject? Make it happen!
