Full Robot shown For tf2 Prime

Same head though, maybe a couple other parts too.

But yeah, new figure(which I'm liking)

I'm hoping the head is a new mold, which I think it is. I liked the Premium sculpt a lot more than the original, and that almost led to me buying the Premium.

it's just a heavy retooling of G1 prime you noobs :roll

This toy...

:win

I'm hoping this mold will indeed combine with Jetfire.

Based on the scale between an SR-71 and a Semi? I doubt it. Likely a LDR class Jetfire combines with a deluxe sized Prime or something to be accurate to any movie combining they might do.

Or perhaps Leader Prime and Supreme Jetfire? It's plausible.

The size difference would still be way off. The SR-71 is over 100 feet long with a wing span almost twice the height of Prime's robot mode - even a LDR Jetfire and DLX Prime is pushing it.

Why do we continue to speak of scale as if it's really relative to toys? The movie line, much less any other toy line other than alts has never been to scale so why would it be now?

How about because we're talking about trying to be the toy representation of an on-screen event? If Prime combines with a robot seven times his size on screen, the resulting combination would not be captured in any accuracy with two Leader class toys.

No, the toys are never going to be 100% accurate with their film's on screen counterparts, but if you're Hasbro and you get the designs from the film crew for the aforementioned big and much bigger robot combination, would your first thought be, "Let's try and make this happen with two toys at the same price point?" or "Okay, we need to make a smaller Prime to combine with the 40 dollar price point figure of this other guy?"

1/ Siburke. This figure isn't a retool of G1 OP. If anything, it's a retool of Voyager Movie Prime.

2/ I'm not happy about this. I bought the first movie Prime, then the chromed "perfect special edition" (or whatever they called it) and now this?

3/ I advise you ALL to NOT buy this version and wait to buy the "super mega movie special edition", near the end of the new upcoming movie toy era.

4/ Then, simply switch your old movie Prime with the new version (Now with genuine Peter Cullen voice/chrome/inked detailing/battle damage/additional weapons/a new hat! (delete where appropriate)"

5/ Voila.

Seriously though, Hasbro should be ashamed of themselves. First they say "we wont have lots of new versions of the existing characters as that would annoy regular customers and now they are going to sell mere retools of existing molds for a new film? I suspect even Micheal Bhey cannot stomach that.

:tflaugh Seriously?

Siburke was making a joke, and this is a Leader class mold (a new one) making it physically impossible for it to be a Voyager retool.

whats the deal with the wide shoulders very reminiscent of starscream which is not good in my book....so far the only figure Ive seen images of that Ive go any interests in is soundwave.

That toy's wide shoulders didn't lead to a fat body though....

That may be a mistransformation too

I vote Hasbro for the dollar!
