I know this, but it still almost looks like a retool of Voyager Prime from movie 1.

 

I'm hoping this mold will indeed combine with Jetfire. It also looks like the transformation is movie accurate.

 

Still, something about the paint job seems off. Maybe it's some of the excess red on the shoulder pieces and the feet that are bugging me.

Looks nice but it does make me feel a bit cheated.

 

I already got the first Leader Optimus Prime, the Premium version and Nightwatch Prime. That last one was on sale though.

Are you looking at the same picture I'm looking at? This doesn't look much like the voyager one or the leader one.

 

This looks like a 100% new mold.

I'm sold. looks much more accurate in both modes, and seems like it will even have that cover thingy on the back of the cab in alt mode. yay for less kibble in alt, and accurate kibble in robot mode.

Sold. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the old one though... Although if I know Hasbro, they'll probably make a Premium Series for this line as well, so I'll wait on this one until we know what will happen with the rest of the movie line.

Based on the scale between an SR-71 and a Semi? I doubt it. Likely a LDR class Jetfire combines with a deluxe sized Prime or something to be accurate to any movie combining they might do.

 

Unless Bay has changed his mind about Mass Shifting or the combining is a toy only gimmick...but I don't put much stock in either of those.

The size difference would still be way off. The SR-71 is over 100 feet long with a wing span almost twice the height of Prime's robot mode - even a LDR Jetfire and DLX Prime is pushing it.
