If his final name is Battle Ravage I hope kids don't associate it with those canon fodder brainless bots on Energon/Super Link.

Yeah, heaven forbid they might actually buy it... Alternators should only be bought by Geewun worshippers. Kids attempting to buy an Alternator deserve to be shot. :roll

Yeah! Kids have no right to be buying toys! They just break them anyways, compared to use adults who are supposed to have jobs and a future....You guys should be grateful they are willing to incorporate elements to draw in the younger fanbase, because simply put, the older fans just aren't enough to keep it going, which is why you get one reissue released like every three or more months, and that's it...

Besides, to deny us fans the right to own an Alternator Hotshot or Armada style Wheeljack or even this Ravage, is just selfish and idiotic of you....Alternators is not YOUR line...You don't own it and you have no right to decide what is "best for it"...Sales decide what is best for the line...

some people hate this figure, some of us like the figure, i know i think they could have done better, but i look foreward to getting it anyway,

my only question is this, why are we seperated into 2 groups? 1 group that likes g1 and supposedly wants everything to be g1, and 1 group that is against g1 and does nothing but badmouth g1 and its fans? ive been a transformers fan since i first watched it, and with the exception of RID (i didnt get to watch any of it), ive been a fan of all the various shows and i dont see how any fan could completely dismiss g1 nor do i see how a fan could dismiss one of the other shows. and comparing them to each other is a waste of time. it is like comparing a '66 Mustang to the '05, they are both mustangs, they are both top of the line vehicles for their times, but you cant really compare them to each other

That's all I have to say about that.

The ony ones who actually lie to themselves enough to believe this is Generation One again are the ones who also have to lie and convince themselves that Energon and Armada tie into G1, and they sit and post stupid conthrived ideas that try to bind it together, when it's all ridiculous.

Like Don Figueroa told me..."Does it say Generation One on the box? well then.."

As I said before Bodycount, Hasbro and Takara are the ones who are making the G1 connection. I don't think fans are "imagining" the characters' names or G1 likenesses, or Takara's BT story.

Now certainly, fans are pushing the G1 connection, but you're doing the same thing, just in the opposite direction.

P.S. I would never want to tie anything post-BM to G1. Yech.

True, there is a G1 connection, but mainly on Takara's part. Alternators doesn't even have a storyline/tech specs

In Binal Tech, its clear its an Alternate Universe take on G1 so as such, why is it such a strech of the imagination to see G1 characters in different forms in an alternate universe?

I didn't want to get in this but looking at the Takara packaging, looking at the toys themselves, reading the names on the box, seeing the 20th anniversary logo and reading the translated character bio's, I could have sworn Binaltech was atleast an alternate reality for G1.

Or is that what your trying to say Bodycount? That BT isn't G1 redone but and alternate reality version of Transformers. Like a What If. What if Megatron infected everyone with the cosmic rust virus But still in another universe seperate from the original G1. That's how I view it.

That is excatly what it is folks :)
