I'm not a collector and received this as a gift. I was wondering if anyone can point me towards some resources on how to price and sell this properly. Thanks.

Does anyone else sometimes buy a certain Transformer based on how it will affect their number in their collection or some other numerical relation? For example, when my collection was approaching 666 I intentionally wanted to get an evil Transformer leader to commemorate my 666th Transformer. I really wanted Energon Megatron, but the toy wasn't out - so I got Energon Scorponok instead. On June 6, 2006 I went out to find any evil Transformer to buy - but the only one I could find that I didn't have was Cybertron Sky Shadow... who of course, turned out to be a freakin' Autobot according to his tech specs, which I didn't read until after I bought the toy (not that I had …

Hope this is the right area to post this, seems like it'd be. I found these in a Hasbro Ad email, http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/PartsAndRefil...rc=GENEMHT21182 It seems like a neat way to display figures(kinda like inexpensive shadowboxes.), but I'm not that into Star Wars figure, so I was wondering if anyone here knew of cases that aren't Star Wars branded? I'm looking to upgrade my storage/display space and I've noticed a lot of collectors here use handsome Ikea cabinets to display their TF's. I know there are Ikea-specific stores, but those are few and far between, and the S/H rates on their website are astronomical. Are there any brick and mortar stores that sell Ikea furniture, or any other way of getting it outside of paying $200+ shipping on a $60 item?

Good day! I was browsing the web when I saw this site... http://myglimpse.googlepages.com ...which offers astonishing travel images, but to my surprise the owner is silently keeping collections (w/ images) of Transformers, MazingerZ and VoltesV. Visit the site and you will never regret it!

With my parents splitting up and therefore neither parent can afford the house the TFormers must be moved. It is a shame that they have to be put in either their boxes or in boxes/shoeboxes. If there is a good way of keeping them safe without taking up much space please let me know.

Well after 2 weeks on and off and more than 10 hours I haver my collection back up on shelves and more or less sorted by generations! I still have a crap load of carded KO's and other items to put up on display, but this is the first time I've had open room on my shelves and it feels good! So how often does everyone here go around sorting and cleaning up their displays?

I think I started out posting here and made a post about collection shelves and what not. I have been researching other peoples collections rooms, and have to say they all have something to impress. BUT...recent events in my life have made me think and rethink my ultimate goal, to have a home with a collection room or case. The original idea was to use a basement, and devote an entire wall, with highly detailed shelves, lights, and even plexi enclosed, possibly even with a curtain to hid the whole thing...but probably will not be able to afford a home with a basement. Most people, have taken a small, spare bed room and turned that into TF heaven. I am not …

I always like going to the Transformers Action Figure TAF store in Dayton (When I lived there...if you are within driving distance go...) My friend Goktimus Prime (many of you may know him) is doing some research on this and asked me to survey Americans. I'm putting it on several forums, but please answer only at one. Don't count PVCs or variants. Thanks!

I just started collecting a few weeks ago, and i have about 35 peices right now from energon. However this week ill be receiving a settlement check from a car accident for around 3,000$. needless to say, a portion of that will be dedicated to transformers. i plan on picking up God Ginrai reissue, predaking reissue, nemesis prime, galaxy convoy, and the 4 pack of black OP, black beast OP,black beast Meg, and black starscream, and whatever i come across that screams "BUY ME!!" Now heres my question... Id like to take them out of the box for display, and was wondering how badly this would decrease the value of them down the road, should i decide to sell my collection?

I posted this here as well as the endcap, due to the quirkiness of my request... I thought maybe some of you MISB G1 guys might be able to help me out, or at least point me in the right direction... I need to find: A MOSC Throttlebot Chase. In Very good to Mint condition. Okay, now stop laughing, and let me explain... My ex-girlfriend's parents decided that our son needed to be named Chase. I protested, and because I didn't like the name, she decided to use it. :tard It's a long story, but the short version is that we're getting along alot better now, and Chase is a little past a year and a half old, and is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I've…
