I want to know what everyone else thinks, do you perfer small collections (i.e ones with a few great toys) or large ones (i.e every last toy imaginable), or somewhere in between. And what do you consider too big? Please post, no flaming, swearing, etc.

I have run into a slight problem with my TM Megs. The torso and the leg assembly no longer stay connected. I pulled them apart one day, and found the screw hole in the bottom of the torso had been stripped. Is there anyway to fix my Megs so he can become display again?

We all have favorites in our collection. Here's a picture of my crown jewels - and I've only paid about $300 for them. Not too shabby, considering the condition of a lot of them. All of the rubsigns are totally functional. Menasor - I de-stickered him, he will have stickers soon from reprolabels.com. Not shown is the instructions to Motormaster, and the cards for the 4 cars. I also have every weapon for the set except for 2 small weapons, and the instruction sheet as to how to complete Menasor. Devastator - THE HIGHEST of the crown jewels - just got him today. All robots are in C9.5+ condition - perfect stickers, no looseness! All Devastator attachments and smal…

I dont like to keep my TFs trapped in a box or in a glass case where i cant take them out occasionally to admire and transform them or rearrange their display on my shelves. Only problem is they get dusty as hell. I use dust wipes or a blow-dryer set on "cool" to get the dust off, but some just got too many nooks and crannys. G1 Shockwave is terrible bc hes got soo many little places for dust to settle. I was just curious to see what some of the other ppl do so they dont damage their precious tfs and their respective stickers.

:tfevil When I was a kid i remember running to the tv room to watch Transformers. Hahaha to this day I still do. :thumb . But todays toys are unreal compared to the old ones. The older transformers figures are very limited in moving and posing ability. The newer transformers toys are becoming more and more flexable, also more challeging to figure out. Only if you do not look at the instructions. Transformers Armada is not a good example of what I am talking about. But Beast Wars/ Machines is, as is Transformers Robots in Desguise. (optimus is a fire truck). What I am getting at is that Transformers are a timeless collectors item. Being a collector it is ha…

In Japan, where I live, we can get, cheaply and easily, plastic display cases to show off our small PVC or small toy collections (there are loads of such toy collections everywhere!). Ive had a look online ahnd this place sells the sort of case I mean (Im not endorsing them, though). If you cant find these in your own areas, try either online, like Hobby Link Japan, or ask at hobby/model places like Games Workshop, etc! anyway, heres a what Im on about: Anyone eklse help with places that sell em?

My friend and I have had problems moving our collections from home and around campus as we move from dorm to dorm. Sometimes, when packed in boxes, his toys would scratch each other :tfsad , no matter how he tried to pack and seperate them :tfmad . Then, he realized that he could put them in plastic bags for the move, and he could remove them scratch free :tflaugh1 !
