I often go through my old group of old, dumb robots. I don't know where they all came from, but I've got quite a few. Amidst them I often find a G1 TF, and that salvage and take downstairs to join my collection of TF's. Well I recently found, along with a G1 Perceptor, a strange Jet like bot. The mark on the back says © TAKARA 1980, 1984 TAIWAN Usually if I ever find a bot that says Takara or Hasbro that means I've found one of my old TF's! However, this is a weird one. I was just thinking to my self what a letdown the transformers universe repaint toy line has been. What could have been a great idea has turned out to be nothing but a waste of plastic and paint. The smarter thing to do with the line of toys would be to release some of the toys that were from the Japanese toy lines. One such figure that I think would be cool would be Lio Convoy…I think a lot of fans and kids would buy that one…they could change the paint for it a little…like change the lion’s mane from gold to silver….that would fit in with the repaint theme of universe and also not slap the fans who went out and got the Japanese version in the face. I’ll be the first to say I’m new to the game of transformers collecting, but I can now say take great pleasure from reading what other transfans have to say and leaving my own thoughts. But one thing has become very clear to me and that’s there is a lot of “Hasbro Bashing” on all the different message boards (well I have only looked on TFormers and TFans). I cant help but think its somewhat lame to be bashing a company for stuff that it cant control such as toy laws, and the western societies never end need to sue every Tom, Dick and Harry. One day at my local Gamestop, I was looking through the used movie section and to my surprise saw Transformers:The Movie. I was feeling a little nostalgic, and on a whim, quickly bought the movie. I caught a weird look form the grunt behind the counter(the first of many), but I brushed it off and sped home to watch the movie. I was wondering who everyone thinks the greatest G1 Transformer was? I think that Galvatron is the greatest G1 Transformer. The fact that he was nuts played a big part of it! He also was a cool toy and had an awesomme transformation! Please just keep this to G1...no Armada,Binaltech,Alternators,RID or BW or BM.

I think the new Hummer H2 would be suitable for Ironhide.I was one on the way home from work and it just screamed "Ironhide" at me. Its just an opinion.Let me know what you think. :tflaugh
