Okay, I know I'm going to get flamed for this topic, but I've been rewatching this series and found it to be much better than I remember! I thought it had boring, repetitive episodes and crappy toys when it first came out, but in retrospect: The Good - MUCH improved graphics, especially in Season 2 - extremely detailed character models - bold, artistic style - characters with depth rather than simple archetypes - complex storylines with long-standing consequences (this was well-learned from Beast Wars) The Bad - "painted-on" details on the characters - Botanica: which mode is which again?? - Obsidian/Strika: no-name characters are legends of Cybertron? - …

Here are mine: So, what do you guys have?

In addition to the *ahem* "toys" I also collect the comics and recently purchased the Best of Simon Furman and the Best of Don Figeroa books from IDW publishing and was pleasently surprised to find that my Best of Don Figeroa was signed by Don himself. Has anyone else gotten the book and it was signed. Trying to find out if I somehow got lucky and have something rare in my possesion or am I just excited over nothing?

I'm loving Furman's new "Universe". And Spotlight Shockwave is one of my fave instalments so far. A famous plot revamped and modernised. I was particularly impressed with the touch of absolute Furman genious in calling the Dinobots, the DYNOBOTS. Dynamic, Dynamite. It worked brilliantly and makes sooooo much sense! What I'd like to discuss is: Should they be actually called Dynobots from now on? And not Dinobots?

Ok I was watching through a few episodes of TF Victory to see what Victory Sabre's jet mode looked like to find where the blue, and yellow guns go Since I just got the KO RM Victory Sabre set. Any how I came across episode 17 which guest stared non other than God Ginrai aka Power Master Optimus Prime in his Apex armor. So if OP was around the universe anywhere how could Starsabre be the Supreme Commander since G Ginrai/PM OP obviously must still have the matrix or did the whole Powermaster thing leave OP matrixless? Or am I just being too G1 original 4 seasons geek? I mean I know Ginrai was Hi Q's Japanese and that PM Prime couldn't transform with out him but does that me…

...but I've been meaning to ask this since armada.

I may get this, since it's got the entire series in one box set (as opposed to the separate sets released in the U.S.), but was wondering about the quality. Do any of you have this, and can you comment on the overall quality?

Anyone else watch the beginning of the NFL on Fox pregame bit? They usually have robot football players running plays, but after the last one scored a touchdown, it transformed into Movie Optimus! It's a promotion for the DVD, but it was really cool!

So, if there is already a thread about this, point me in its direction...if not... Would it be possible to get all the information about the different Transformers dvd releases in one place? It seems like every chain is getting their own special release and I would just like to weigh my options before I go out and buy a copy...I'd imagine others would like to do the same. ready, go!

And just for the heck of it, here's me getting kneed in the nuts by an Imperial Stormtrooper! :) ;)
