Upgrades

i found this and couldnt pass it up want to put it into use who do u think it could be and which alt do u think it would work with

...did this since I'm crazy enough to buy a BTA Sunstreaker for parts (gotta have those black stripes, and anyway BTs are no fun to play with) the picture is a bit washed out b/c my camera only has two settings, "snowblind" and "total darkness"... but anyway you get the idea Basically I just unscrewed a bunch of stuff from the BTA and stuck it on the Alternator. That includes: head neck/shoulders arms chest waist (okay, "crotch") thighs oh and you can't see it, but I took the tail lights from an Alt Dead End I had as well. (red > white) I left the feet as-is, because I feared massively screwing it up if I tried to remove those pin…

Hey, As ive bought movie rescue Ratchet and converted him to fit in with the alternators, I needed something to do with the original movie Ratchet. He will become Roadbuster! I've changed the head and hands, and added more black to the roof. I have removed the roof cage and bumper. I am planning to add military decals, probably reprolabels alt Hound set, some missle turrets to the roof and a mounted anti-aircraft gun. In bot mode he will have a mini missle array fold out instead of the axe Vehicle bot mode with his new buddies Ratchet and Inferno Opinions/Comments/Critisisms? JL

I haven't had Alt Grimlock for more then ten minutes before I slowly start to mod him, just out the sheer need to "meddle with." All I did was take the Pieces that hold the doors on (car body/shoulders) and round off the square peg the screw goes into. Why? :Shrugs: why not it allows him one more bit of variety, it allows his door to hang down along his arms, ALA Sideswipe, I don't know I just didn't like the whole doors as shoulder blades. Alas no pics I might take some shots if ask to do so, otherwise telling everyone for their thoughts.

Finally got around to doing him. Robot Alternate mode Yep another Spray and Brush job with trusty hairspary as a fixative(cheap you see), with a bit of fins be gone.

How do you dye plastics?? I have an desert camo ruination that I would like to recolor as G1 Bruticus. Would I be better off painting it or dying it?
