Toys

I've been wanting a place to gush about Animated toys, so I'm starting a thread :P GUSH I have Starscream and Blackarachnia so far (just got BA tonight) and they're both super awesome! Blackarachnia has oodles of character out the wazoo, or is that "out the spinneret"? And Starscream is all seeker-tacular and stuff. I really really want Cyb. deluxe Prime (my son has him and I'm JEAROUS) and Grimlock.

Is doing more Botcon convention Combiners the way to go? will this be totally awesome? I'd say a big YES. I'd love to see this get taken to the next level. by having the Botcon gift set be a combiner themed set & have the souvenir figures be another combiner themed set in the same botcon year. Example: botcon 2013 has the Protectobots as the gift set & liokaiser as the souvenir figures. It just seems like the Botcon Animated sunticons was a awesome idea that so many TF fans loved. It would be awesome to get more botcon themed combiners sets. maybe in the classics theme. The PCC Combiners would make great combiners themed sets for botcon.…

Ok, so I'm going though a bunch of pics on my computer and I started finding a few that I had forgotten about. As i went through the bunch I came across some older pics I had of the Beast Wars Battle Helmets from the first wave. I know it comes up from time to time as to why they were there. We now know it was an idea scrapped at the last moment before making the show, but the toys were already out. Thus...a quirky gimmick that gets a lot WTF moments from newer fans. So I say we start a topic to help newer fans and old fans alike to find the hidden meaning behind those exrtra wheels or that unused cockpit. If we can, Try to add pics or links of the hidden alt modes an…

I've had a real hell of a time having a calm, reasonable discussion about this on newsgroups, so I'll test the waters on this here board. My theory is that anyone who is offered the chance to own either a Binaltech Smokescreen or an Alternator Smokescreen, free of charge, will take the Binaltech. You've got both of these babies out of the box on a table in front of you, hell, they're both revolving slowly and seductively on those velvety turntables with little display cabinet halogen lights aimed at their sexy curves and corners. Which one would you take? Which one would anybody take? See, I think it's just a given truth that the Binaltechs are superior to an a…

One day, as Godzilla got tired of beating ¤¤¤¤ out of the other Daikaiju...

Anyone got some more info on these? From the glimpse I saw, they might be similar to the old Takara Microchange ball bots, which the animal versions were re-released as BW TF's in Japan. BAKUGAN
